I spun around as soon as I heard the sound. It wasn’t loud. To anyone not trained like me, they wouldn’t have even heard it let alone know that it was a silencer. I watched as Ivy dove to the ground. I pulled my gun and ran in her direction, firing shots at car the shots were coming from. The tires squealed as it fishtailed a little before finally righting and driving off.

When I was sure that there was no more threat to either Ivy or myself, I looked at her on the ground.
