Chapter 101

London's POV

"Take my hand," I said to Elsa as I stretched my right hand behind me. Elsa rushed and grabbed it as we both walked to the gate. The guards there had already moved out of the way, allowing us passage into the compound.

"I want to take something from the carriage," Elsa muttered just as we entered the compound. As we passed by the garden, I turned to my right where our carriage was parked and growled under my breath.

I was sure whatever Elsa wanted to do would take an awful lot of time and time was not something we had. Something was up and I really wanted to know what. Taking too long might just cause me to miss the window of opportunity I had.

"What do you want to take that can't wait till we're done?" I asked Elsa as I turned to her. "And how long will it take?" I added, trying to keep the impatience out of my voice.
