I did not believe I was actually indulging in this weird plan. We released the breath we had been holding while the Chevrolet drove off the castle and Sara pulled down the sack and giggled uncontrollably.

The relenting afternoon shone faintly on my face and I took in a long breath. We were on a busy road and I just realised I missed the honking of cars.

“Told you not to worry” Sara whispered.

“How far is the mall?” I asked.

“We should be there in some minutes”

I closed my eyes as the breeze settled into my whole body. Sara was right. This was another type of fresh air entirely. The house was becoming suffocating even after Sara tried to convince me I hadn’t fully explored the whole grounds.

But if I hadn’t left the living room and continued watching the movie on TV, I might have gone crazy.

The car skidded to a stop and Sara immediately pulled the sack bag over us. The doors slammed shut as the two guards made their way into the mall. We waited for what could be counted as five
