Returning home

" Miss Williams your flight preparations are complete and you'll be leaving tomorrow "

"Thank you Stacy" Seraphina said without looking up " and I trust that no one will be aware of the particular date of my return especially my parents "

" I understand " Stacy said before walking out of Seraphina's office 

Seraphina put her head down on her desk as she thought of her return , firstly her mother would probably nag her about her love life asking questions about when she planned to get married . she had this feeling that she was going to be bombarded with blind dates the moment she stepped foot into her home town and so she had a proposition for Jason and therefore she'd probably go see him first before returning to her parent's house ,Standing up she looked outside her office through the large full length windows , sentimental about her last day in Dinuh which had been her home for the last two years , her office although it wouldn't close down was still a place that she felt a sentimental attachment to , the place where she had built her empire .

Before she moved to Dinuh she was a carefree little girl that spent her parent's money and spent her time shopping , partying and having fun and that was because it was all her parents allowed her to do , as their only child Seraphina wasn't allowed to work , she wasn't allowed to do anything that they felt would stress her , all they wanted from her were grandchildren to spoil even more than they spoiled her , although she still didn't care about public opinion she wanted a chance to prove to herself to her parents , to prove that shecshe survive in the big world without her their money .

When she first arrived in Dinuh she'd opened a new account and had refused to use the one her parent's had opened for her , she had a monthly allowance of two million dollars which was far more than she could spend but she'd taken a loan from a bank and started her business and it had grown into an empire , Seraphina was into real estate , she had an entertainment agency and she had a chain of convenience store and finally she'd branched into hotels of recent and in the two years she'd been in Dinuh her company Sera's way (SW) was already worth a few billion dollars although that was nothing compared to her parent's accomplishments or even Jason's but she was satisfied , the business world was indeed ruthless to everyone but it was especially unfair to women she couldn't count how many men that she'd come across that had expected some kind of sexual favour from her in turn for their support and investment , men in the business world often saw women as objects for pleasure and she was irritated by their thinking . No matter how unhinged she'd been she was still naive when it came to sexual endeavors , she was still a virgin and she wasn't willing to sell her first time to someone because of money , she remembered how they never took her seriously at first but now things were better , she'd made a name for herself and she didn't even need to make deals herself anymore she felt like her vice president could hold the fort will she was gone and that's why she finally felt like it was time to go back home .

Picking up her bag and coat she walked out of her office to her car waiting for her outside , she got into the car utterly exhausted from her last day of work , all the preparations and all the meetings had contributed to the hectic day that she'd had and now she had to pack and get up early in the morning for a 12 hour flight when all she wanted to do was to lie in bed for 48 hours without getting up , she got to her home in an hour and quickly rushed upstairs after informing her driver of her plans to leave the house early in the morning .

She took off her shoes as she walked into the house and put on her slippers before walking into the sitting room and dumping her coat and bag on the coach , she walked to the kitchen taking out a bottle of juice from the fridge and walking to her room to pack her things .

She walked into her closet and she began to regret having so much clothes , normally she wouldn't bother to pack but she knew she wouldn't be back for a few years so there was no point in leaving her  clothes behind especially in a house that would probably be given out soon , sighing loudly she began to haul all the clothes from her wardrobe to her bed before folding them into her box after about thirty minutes of packing she heard a knock on the door , dumping the clothes in her hand unto her bed she walked to the door 

" Who's there ?" she asked 

" Sera It's me open the door! " samira yelled

" Mira? , what are you doing here ?" she asked as she opened the door for her best friend " And why didn't you just come in ?" 

"I would have done that but then who would have helped me bring in all these boxes ?" Seraphina raised a brow in question looking at the boxes that Samira was currently struggling with " Well do you really think you could go back to Fahad without me ?" Mira asked as she pulled two boxes into Sera's apartment " Let's go together  , I don't want to stay here without you " 

" Mira darling I'd love to " Seraphina said as she walked towards her room " But your career is currently on the rise and I'm afraid I can't let you throw all that down the drain for me " 

" What do you mean by throw it all away ?! , I wouldn't even have a career right now without you , I'd still be stuck in that worthless company sharing a manager with ten other girls , having work once every four months and having to work extra jobs just to stay afloat , I pulled through all that thanks to you " 

" Mira you would have pulled through with or without me and the only reason why you are where you are is because you are incredibly talented and that's the truth don't sell yourself short " 

" It doesn't matter to me though I'm going with you , we can always set up a branch in Fahad and what's more we speak the same language so I'll be able to cope " Samira said as she looked at Seraphina with eyes that were filled with determination 

Sera didn't bother arguing with Samira because she knew it was useless when she got like that , even if she didn't go with her then she would probably be on the next available flight to Fahad 

" Fine you can come , let's get your luggage in so we can finish packing my clothes and get some food cause I'm famished " 

They both walked to Sera's room after pulling in all six of Samira's boxes with Seraphina murmuring and complaining all through as Samira laughed at her 

They'd packed up all of Sera's clothes , bags , shoes and jewelries into various boxes four for charity and six for the trip and the rest would be senttsent over by herther assistant. They ordered some  chicken and burgers for the night , eating and playing before finally falling asleep .

The next morning was hectic with trying to get all the luggages into the cars before they got to the airport , the twelve hours flew quickly as they slept and worked through it and finally they'd landed in Fahad and for some reason Seraphina was nervous not because she was scared that the city had changed , not because she had to face her parents after two years , all that didn't matter to her she was nervous because she had to face Jason Bell again
