Chapter 74: Regrettable Past
The next day, Peter left the hotel he was staying in around noon, to go see Bridget. After Wise One has talked to him, he saw some reasons why he should go see her again.
He can't jeopardize their entire lives just because of her arrogance. He has promised to be calmer with her this time, so they can get more information about the hybrid.
Peter arrived at Bridget's place after some minutes of drive. He parked his car where he did, the last time he came here. As usual, the whole area was in total silence again.
Immediately he hopped down from the car, he made sure to check around if someone is following him, or not, before he finally walked over to her building.
When Peter got to the entrance, he pressed the bell at her door side, and wait patiently for an answer from inside. But to his surprise, no one answered. He pressed it again, still, no response.
