Chapter 2

"Have I offended you? I mean.. We were together yesterday night and we shared something magical". The guy said looking puzzled. 

Hadassah smiled pathetically making the guy more confused. 

"Don't tell me your believe those rubbish. "She said like she was talking about something disgusting. 

"What do you mean by rubbish, I made my intentions known to you and you didn't say anything ". He said. 

"Since you have answered the question yourself, I have nothing to say, now if you will excuse me, have got better things to do ". She said trying to walk away, but the guy held her back. 

"Don't tell me that those words I said to you meant nothing to you. "He said heart broken. 

"Awwn, don't be a cry baby, we were having fun and thank the heavens you said I gave you no response to what you said, so see you some other time and once again I will formerly introduce myself as the Queen of Heart ".

She walked back to into her office feeling super excited, she was feeling so joyous right now, the type of joy you feel when you see something you worked hard for getting approved.

Though it's a feeling she had  almost every day or week,but any time it happens,it just feel like a whole brand new feeling that she was  still trying to get used to.

The ring on her phone made her stop walking temporarily, she smiled to herself seeing that the caller is no other person than Miguel, he always know the right moment to call, she smiled a bit before picking up the call.

"My love." He called like a man who is truly drunk in love.

"My darling." She replied blushing hard as I walked very slowly to her office.

"Hmm." He hummed probably sensing something and she was  sure it's in her voice, she don't know how to keep this type of feeling to herself.

"What?" She asked trying to hold her laughter.

"I'm sensing something,,I'm perceiving this aroma that something is going on,so tell me my love,what have you got for me?" He asked.

"Well.." she drawled deciding to keep him in suspense even though she had no plan to tell him anything now.

"Common tell me and stop this drama, I can't wait to hear the gist and you know I don't like been in suspense." He snapped playfully.

"You will find out about it soon enough, but not now,I promise to tell you later." She said.

The only reason she's refusing to tell him now is because she was still in the office and our CEO hasn't seen the design yet neither has he approved it.

"Common, don't be mean, please tell me now." He urged persuasively.

"It's still a no, trust me dear, I promise to tell you everything later." She said chuckling.

"Common tell me." He urged again.

"Don't be a cry baby Miguel,I promise to tell you today." She  said truthfully.

"Alright, I won't ask anymore, and I won't listen to you whenever you are ready to tell me." He said.

"We will see about that." She said daringly.

"So how is work at your end?" She  asked before he could say any word.

"Work is fine,I'm just missing you." He said childishly.

"Missing me?" She asked.

"Of course,I'm really missing you over here,you understand what I mean." He said.

"You never sieze to amaze me." She said.

"Why did you say that?" He queried.

"We were together yesterday morning and you are already missing me again?" She questioned opening the door to her office only to see Sandra seated comfortably on my chair.

"That was in the morning and it was yesterday." He argued.

"You are correct, I will be there this evening and please,I will call you later,I have something to take care of." She said hanging up on him.

"Good morning to you Sandra." She said staring at her questioningly.

"What exactly is good about this morning when you have succeeded in ruining it for me,so what do you expect to be good about it?" She asked boiling with rage.

"How did I ruin your morning cause when I came this morning,I walked straight into my office after greeting just a few number of people and you aren't even part".

"Well if the morning isn't good for you,the morning is good for me, in fact fantastic,but I don't know what have done to ruin yours". She said truthfully.

"You know what,you keep behaving like you are the best amongst every other person,but it is a a lie,you are far from the best,you are too proud". She said spitefully.

"You are correct Sandra,I am indeed the best at what I do and same goes for you,so there's no big deal in it ". she said with confidence.

"Keep using your star for now,I will make sure everyone sees how useless you are by the time I'm done with you." She said.

"Keep trying,there is no big deal." She said nonchalantly.

"There is a big deal,you are trying to take my position from me right?" She asked chuckling sarcastically.

"Rose is only deceiving you,you can never take her position from her,that position is mine,I'm going to become the next head of this department whether you like it or not,keep submitting all the designs you have on that empty brain of yours, I'm going to make sure you watch me become the next head". She said.

"Good luck with that,it's a big dream and I wish you all the best in fulfilling your dreams". Tiffany simply said enraging her the more.

"You are insane." She said.

"Thanks for the compliment, please leave my sit,I want to take my sit now". She said.

"You will keep sitting here". She said.

"You know what Sandra,the time you are spending here busy hating on me,I think you should use it to create designs". I said as a matter of fact.

"I will make sure. I deal with you,and you will really hate yourself by the time I'm done." She said before storming out of the office in anger.

Sandra, her  colleague who made herself a competitor even though she less concerned, she did care about the position all she's after is seeing her design on people's body nothing more.

She is the problem of herself cause I see her as nothing and I don't hold anything against her.

Tiffany hanged up on Miguel. she might have something to take care of since she said she would call me later.

She might be busy creating a design like she always did, since that is what she loves doing most.

"Our very able doctor." Ronald called entering into my office without knocking.

"When will you learn to knock?" He asked rolling my eyes.

"And when will you also learn to say good morning?" He asked taking his sit opposite me.

"I haven't asked you to sit yet and you are already seated." He said.

"Oh please,I'm not a visitor man."  He said shrugging his shoulders.

"How are you doing this morning by the way,you don't look so happy." He said observing my face.

"I'm doing great Mr." He said looking away from him to the files on my table.

"You don't look like it, infact,you are far from great." He said.

"Aren't you supposed to be at work this morning Ronald?" He asked trying to change the topic.

"Yes you are right,but luckily for you,I'm on a leave so I have the whole week to myself and I decided to spend it with you, isn't that sweet?" He asked beaming.

"No,it isn't." Miguel replied.

"Well,that isn't the answer to my question,I know quite well that you are trying to divert my attention from the question." He said smartly.

"So tell your best pal what the problem is." He urged leaning forward.

"You are really smart, aren't you?" He asked seeing that I can no longer run away from the question.

"Of course I'm smart,that is the only reason why I became the general manager of a prominent bank." He said proudly.

"Good for you." He muttered.

"I'm worried about Tiffany,you know,it has been a while she passed the night at my place." He said closing the file on my table.
