Your Time is Up

The door opened, and to Audrey's surprise and Laura's annoyance, Jason North stepped into the office like he owned the place.

"What are you doing here?" Laura asked.

Jason walked over to the couches placed to the side of the office and had his seat. "I am here as a client; I believe that's not how you speak to your clients."

Laura was pissed that he had come into her space to behave like the boss of all.

"Uhm, Mr. North, I'm not sure I received your appointment; I would have informed Laura of this meeting," Audrey said.

"Oh, that's fine; I'm sure you don't take just clients who make appointments; I decided to do a walk-in visit; it's not against any law, I'm sure," Jason said with a shrug.

Laura stood up, closed her laptop, and walked around her desk to where Jason was sitting.
