Trapping Her

Grace and Laura turned to look at the door, and they heard the words, "Room service."

"You should get that, and I'll be on my way. I guess we have this settled now," Grace said.

Laura looked back at Grace and said, "You are a heartless b*tch."

Laura didn't see any iota of regret in Grace's eyes, which made it all the more painful. She had known Grace never liked her, but that didn't diminish the pain of hearing about what she had done.

"I don't care whatever you call me now, Laura, but promise me you won't go bothering Jared again," Grace asked.

"Why would I promise you that? If he were so against my company, I'm sure he would have made that clear to me, but his actions are completely the opposite," Laura replied.
