Having Grandchildren

Tina turned to Dalia and asked, "Who is it?"

"He says his name is Shawn North," Dalia answered.

Tina turned to look at Lily and asked, "Would you like to meet him?"

Lily wondered what the reason behind his visit to her place out of the blue was, so she replied, "Let him in. Let's find out what he wants."

"Okay," Dalia replied, and she walked back to the door.

"Did she agree to see me?" Shawn asked as soon as Dalia opened the door again.

Dalia smiled as she replied, "She is in the living room; please come in."

Shawn walked into the house, noticing the taste and precision with which the house was decorated.

Tobias had always referred to Lily as a very meticulous person, but seeing the house only added evidence to the words for Shawn.

"This way, please," Dalia said as she started walking towards the living room, where everyone was gathered.

When they got there, it was empty, and Dalia's face had confusion on it just before she saw Tina coming back down into the living room too.
