Jason pulled out his phone for the third time since he dropped the call with Laura and noticed she had not called back yet.

"Such arrogance," he muttered to himself.

Jason was pissed that he had tried to extend a friendly hand, but she had thrown it back at his face. She was beginning to frustrate him, and he didn't think he was going to take it any longer. He really needed her to analyze the hotel's books.

"Jason?" Tim called.

"To think that, I actually thought she was in danger or had fallen earlier," Jason scoffed, shaking his head at himself.

"What a fool she made of me," Jason said, through gritted teeth.

"Pardon? Did I do something wrong?" Tim asked, shaking his head at Jason's words.

"No, Tim, could you go back to the beginning? I was not really paying attention," Jason replied.

"Okay, so I said that your business trip is coming up, and I was wondering if you had any specific instructions regarding it," Tim explained.

"Oh, okay," Jason replied.
