I hate weddings.

Brandon is to blame.

As a young girl, I was obsessed with weddings. Not just because of the huge cakes and little flower girls and colourful venues. But mainly because of the stylish wedding gowns and the breathtaking brides. I desperately wanted to be a bride some day. But most of all, I wanted to spend my life designing wedding gowns and making brides feel beautiful on their special day.

But then I met Brandon. Thought I would be his bride. That didn't happen and now I can't stand weddings. I can't even stand seeing wedding shows or wedding magazines. They are a harsh reminder of the horrible heartbreak I went through.

But strangely, I'm more than happy to be at Vanessa's wedding.

The wedding is black-themed. The few guests are all dressed in black. The venue is decorated with black flowers and black seats. I thought it was an odd colour for a wedding but it's actually stunning and unique and different.
