Aunt Gomez's POV

I stared at my brother as he paced the room, trying to come up with a solution.

"How could you let this happen?" He suddenly stopped.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know."

"The whole point of coming here was for her to be able to hide, how did you even manage to lose her?" He asked, clearly annoyed.

I didn't have a single answer to give him.

I was just as confused as he was.

"I'm sorry Angel, but blaming each other isn't going to help. We need to put our heads together and figure out a way to find her before it's too late."

"She's still alive, I can feel it," Angel said with a sigh but I can't locate her location I'm too weak."

"Maybe we should just go to the police guards and enlist them…"

"And risk exposing Maya's secret? Absolutely not. We can find her by ourselves. We just need to retrace our steps.

Give me the name of everyone she associates with in school. I'm talking friends, boyfriends, flings, teachers, enemies, frenemies. Every single person she has ever spoken to.
