“We have to go back to the other world?” I asked Joshua who nodded gently. Our footsteps echoed in the empty corridor as we headed to Joshua’s study. It was located about five rooms away from mine so it was quite a walk. When we got to the study, Joshua locked the doors and erected a barrier around the room; to keep intruders out and to stop anyone who could possibly be trying to spy on us.One he finished erecting the barrier, he turned to me and spoke, “Yeah. Xander has caught some of the rogue's trail and he says that they are heading towards the main city.” I gasped, “The main city? What are they trying to do?” “I have no idea as well.” Joshua shook his head. I knew that he was just as confused as I was, but he continued, “Rogue wolves are known for killing everyone who stands in their way and they also like to eat humans. Knowing humans, they would try to protect themselves from the wolves and it might lead to a one-sided massacre since the humans aren't going to be prepared.”

Aileen's POV I stared at the magnificent wolf before me, taking in her beautiful white fur. Slowly, I stood up and looked at her. "What is your name?" I asked curiously. The wolf stared back at me for a while, then said, "I do not have a name. I was born from your consciousness, so it is you who is supposed to give me a name." AILEEN’S POV“This place is so eerie.” I shivered and ran my hands down my skin. It was a bit cold, not the coldness that affected the skin but one that affected the heart; it was a scary type of coldness. Owls hooted and crickets chirped loudly, these animals could even play in a band if they wanted to. I and Joshua left the other world as early as we could but once we came here, it was still midnight.
