Curled up in my bed, the soft blanket wrapped tightly around me, I stared blankly at the headboard, my mind consumed by thoughts of Braveheart. Trying as I might, I couldn't shake her from my mind, her peaceful presence was the only thing that seemed to crush the demons that haunted me.

Davin's voice echoed in my head. "We should go search for her. Make sure she is safe. If Michael hasn’t returned since he went to look for her, that means they are in trouble and need our help. She is our mate we can't just ignore her just because some selfish bitch asked us to," he said and continued, “Why can’t you see that she is trying to control everything that happens in our lives just because she is pregnant with our child?"

I shook my head, digging deeper into the covers. "We have to let her go," I rasped, even as the familiar screams began to pierce my consciousness. "She is nothing to us now, Carol is our Luna, and we need to stick with her, even if she is not our fated mate
