BLAIR’S POV

Early the next morning, I got out of bed and freshened up, hurrying downstairs.

This was unlike me, who was never eager about leaving my room. I had spoken time and again about leaving the house, but Stacy insisted that I stayed for the wedding, and now, I was glad that I stayed. I was so positive that this was the reason why fate had designed for me to stay.

I could finally uncover all her lying and deceit.

Brian deserved a lot better.

Breakfast table was already set, although no one was out to eat yet.

I wasn’t sure what was wrong with Stacy and Collins, but I peeped outside to see Brian’s car just driving in.

It was evident he hadn’t returned home, last night.

Brian walked in and he looked quite tired.

His shirt was wrongly buttoned and he looked quite shabby.

It was the first time I was going to see Brian in such tattered manner.

He staggered into the house and I hurried to get him.

“Drunkenness?” I said, under my breath.

“It’s all her fault,”
