Underneath the stars
Recap/ hi, I am Boma Hart, there is a few things you know or maybe forgot, Scott seemed to be adamant about wanting me to go with him to the music fest and my dinner date with Brandon ended on a good note/.
( The same evening)
Brandon walked me to my car packed outside, "well, goodnight Miss Boma, I had a nice time with you". He says and swiftly filled up space between us.
I closed up my eyes and felt his hand past mine as he opens up my car door and withdrew back.
" Get in" he signaled, I looked back and smiled at him, " thank you, Brandon". I said and drove off without hesitation.

Brandon phoned the minute I returned home, "hello stranger". I wandered in and count my step up to my room.
"You must be back home right?. Inquired through the phone and met him replying my words to him.
"Yes I am, how about you?". I asked and he reciprocates with his too.
The few hours spent at the restaurant weren't enough, we both talked on the phone with each other, and to a point, I dozed off.
"Hello, Boma". He calls at the other end, a weak smile on, and adds up, "goodnight dear".

The following morning, I got a call and figured Brandon would have been calling to wish me a good morning, thus, I picked up the phone and dropped a frown after heeding the voice.
"Good morning sleeping beauty". Scott's deep tone voice me.
I jerked up from the bed and met the time, "urgh!!! It's seven in the morning, why are calling?".
"What do you mean? Did you forget we have a date?" He confirmed through.
Saying that it's quite early, won't make Scott back down, his adamant behavior got me out to head straight to the restroom.
"Hold on, I'll meet you at the bus stop, in a few hours".

Afterward, I strolled down to meet mom seated in the living room, "good morning dear, where are you going dressed like that?".

I wore a pair of joggers, a crop top, and a white canvas, thus, no one in her right state of mind will go to the office, dressed like that and It wasn't the right decision to tell mom, about my appointment with Scott, either she runs me up to my room and get me tied to a chair or Scott ends up being shot by her, yes!! That's how much mom hated Scott.
"Actually mom, I have a date with a friend of mine". I said.
"Who? Is it Brandon?" Mom cutting the edge to fish out the truth got me doing the only thing, that gets her off my back.
"Why are you asking mom, do you have to know my every move". Frowned and left her hanging.
I boarded a taxi that took me to the bus station, Scott weaves at me while I swiftly made my way in his direction.
"Good morning" I walked past and got on the bus, he smiled and went in after me.
It took precisely eight hours to get to the music fest, Scott dragged me further into the fest and happily danced to the bands' song.
I looked on and fell back on old times, indeed those good memories I still hold and cherish.
"What are you doing, dance?" He holds me close and moved my body to the beat, gradually the music takes control and I found myself dancing arms linked with him.
