Immediately after the last compelling word left my mouth, the body of the dead owls stood up and flew through the window while the light from the candles turned off.
The cabin and the environment were completely silent—eerily silent. For a couple of minutes, everything was quiet until there was a thunderous sound from the outside and a flash of strong lightning appeared in the sky, cutting and illuminating through the darkness and silence.
The sound of deep rumbling started to grow inside and I know after that the initiation was complete. After a few minutes more the candle lights came on again while the owls returned.
