CARNELIAN'S POV

" What do you mean?" I asked

" Lucy was right. Elijah did have a thing in this. Though he is not the one that orchestrated the plan, he indeed have something in it," she said

" What did he do to you?" I asked out of concern

" I don't want to talk about it now," she said

" But you promise to tell me, right?" I asked, looking worried

I ought to press her into talking, but I don't want to rush her. She is just reviving back, and with her state of health and baby,I don't want to trigger anything

" Yeah," she said

We talked about other events, and I can see from her face that she is truly happy to be back. I mean, who won't? Everybody is happy that their Luna is back, and so I am. My mate is back, and not only that, she is back. She is back with my child

" So since Lucy is right,you need to work the enmity between you two out. " she said suddenly
