Victor rushed out of the warehouse, his heart pounding with a pure rage. He got into his car and began to drive around the entire pack territory, desperately trying to trace her. Her scent, which had been so strong inside, was now faint and disappearing. The trail of blood that had led to the outside of the warehouse was gone, leaving him with nothing to follow.

He drove in circles, his eyes scanning every street, every corner, hoping for a sign of her. But there was nothing. No trace of her anywhere. Panic began to set in, making his chest tighten with each passing second.
