NATHAN'S POV
But I realized there was no turning back now as I looked at Jude, his determination burning in his eyes. It wasn't his pack but he had become so attached and would fight for them to be well.
We had made too many sacrifices and traveled too far to allow fear to stop us. We were fighting for something more than ourselves: the possibility of a better future, the opportunity to create a pack in which each person's voice mattered and every life was important.
