It was a wedding, the wanted to marry another wife, a very young girl, and very attractive, but the girl had a fiancé, who was a leader of a group of goons from the neighboring kingdom’
‘On his wedding night with his new queen soldiers from the neighborhood came and killed men from three hundred families, the seer’s words came true, innocent lives were lost, the goons left a message on every door saying, they’re not yet done until their child returned to them,’ (the new queen) this led to a lot of mix-ups, and chaos started at the palace amongst queens concerning the new queen.
They felt their lives were in danger, some wanted her to leave the palace while others wanted her to stay’
So, grandma who was after her life?’ Joel was curious to know
‘Her evil fiancé,’ nana continued “he was out to get her, and wanted to kill her for not accepting his marriage, turns out she had run to the palace for refuge instead of the king protecting her he made her the king made her his wife”
‘Woo that’s a lot to process for a day grandma, let’s stop there with storytelling,’ Regina was now getting pissed, the story reminded her of her childhood
of Corse she never likes good stories next time please tell us the usual one grandma, Joel seemed pissed off with her sister’s character.
Regina went out to get water for her nana, she knew she had hurt Joel and wanted to make it up for him, she dressed up like like an evil witch, and went inside to scare him. Joel was very excited to see her, his giggle was so loud, instead of him getting scared he was excited.
Nana was surprised a normal kid was to get scared and scream out loud, nana remembered her mother’s words, ‘I am the daughter of the great wi…’ that’s when she knew her mother was the witch’s daughter
The crown Prince was in search of a wife to marry, the prince had just returned home from London, from his studies and found the girl he once saved living in the palace (the new queen)
What a relief the girl he has been dreaming of is working here in the palace, the prince was in love with her ever since he saved her from her evil ex-boyfriend’s goons, he wondered why the girl was in the palace, he asked one of the maidens
She is my new mother I have to stay away from her, the maiden’s words were disturbing, how could my father be my rival, how can the only woman I have ever loved, be my step mother, what kind of a cruel game life is playing with me, he was devasted.
As days passed by nana wanted to know about the kids’ origins she wanted to prepare them by letting them know the truth about their past, she went back to the village where she found Regina to inquire about her father.
Regina started to have visions.
six months had passed by and the king had never set his foot to his new Queens sleeping chamber, this was not normal for the king not to get close to his wife, suspicions arose, rumors started going around the palace’ some queens were happy. This was a god sign to them they would get a chance to be close to their husband.
Of Corse is normal for wives to get jealousy of each other and get excited if one doesn’t get the right attention, as days pass by the prince yearned to see and talk to the new queen, he needed answers, but fate was not on their side, every time they tried to get close to each other one thing or the other happened.
The new queen had no idea the man who once saved her life was a prince.
Seated in her room watching the garden through her window, a good-looking man watering the vegetables trying to capture her attention, the man suggestively walked seductively as he watered the flowers, he moved slowly and carefully making a lot of noises suggesting to the queen to look at him, he was passing on a message
‘He must be one of the new employers here in the palace’, she thought to herself, as she ignored him, her mind set to ignore him but her heart told her otherwise, he's such a good-looking man, his skin glowed, his eyes looked straight in her eyes, he was definitely someone who was not afraid of the king. Someone this courageous must be either close to the kind or his evil fiancés men, but no one can get pass by the royal guards.
Eyeing the queen was like signing a death sentence, he does not care of his life. The queen thought.
He needed to have a word with her, to speak to her, to clear the air between them, his body language suggested.
The queen moved closer, as if she too wanted to be close to the man, ‘wait it's a sin I can't be thinking of another man while am married, not only that, my husband is the most powerful man in the kingdom, I can't even be thinking of going close to him’, she thought to herself.
Her heart beat faster, her veins asking her to move and open the door, but the coldness in her feet wouldn't allow.
It was love at first sight for the queen, I know I am wrong but my heart tells me I am right. I want to know the man, my body wants to have him close, trying to avoid her needs be seen by the man, she hid herself behind the window, she wanted to watch him without him noticing her.
She crawled on the ground trying to find a perfect place to hide as she watched him, she slowly opened her eyes hoping to have a clear view without any one seeing her, but as soon as she opened he had already gone. Another man was standing there watering the flowers.
She quickly ran out to go find him, but before she could open the door, she remembered she had never stepped out of the room since she got married.
What a waste, she sat down thinking of the mysterious man.
She stood back slowly, looked at the garden hopping to meet her eyes with the man, but it was the other Gardner, she gazed at him asking him where the man went with signs, she was being careful no one to notice her, the gardener with a lot of respect he bowed down his head, it was a sin to look direct to the eyes of the queen or the king
He made a signal for her to turn around
Before she could get a chance to turn, strong hands held her, he concealed her mouth and slowly dragged her, he carefully made her seat, the queen was panicking and waited for the perfect opportunity to scream out, he moved close, her heart was pounding faster he felt the terror in her, he was afraid of what she would do if he let her go.
He cleared his throat, and silently mumbled to her, ‘please don’t scream I’m unharmed I need to have a word with you my lady’, he spoke with so much respect, his voice trembled, he knew he was in trouble if the queen decided not to cooperate.
She fumbled, struggled to get out words from her mouth, his thick palms had covered her whole mouth, she struggled to speak, but was relaxed, she enjoyed the pose she was held, he smelled so attractive.
She was bored and was enjoying his company, she wanted to get out of her room.
Slowly he dropped his hand, the queen spoke in a calm voice,
“Who are you? Anyway, never mind I’m glad you are here, I’m going to keep this a secret in return you’ll help me out, she stopped talking, ‘It’s time for me to know the palace I have been indoors way too long, maybe this is my fate, at least am happy, no beatings no arguments it a good life,’ she thought to herself.
“Anything for you my lady” he spoke out
There bonding was disrupted by the elder queen’s voice on the door.
The two panicked, no one has ever visited her since, the man was terrified, he hid behind the closet. But his scent was all over the room.
Queen mother noticed the scent, she moved slowly gazing all over the room she searched for the scent.
‘Can I help you my lady,’ the queen asked
She felt embarrassed, and quickly turned around to address her,
‘I know this is not what you expected of our husband, he’s always this busy but don’t worry I will be taking you to him today I have set a meeting with him and the crown prince, so put on your best and be in the meeting room in the next thirty minutes,’
“I am sorry your highness, we call you so, because you are a long-lost princess of this noble land, you were abducted by an evil witch, my mother tried to save you but failed, it led to her banishment from the kingdom.” She paused and watched keenly her reaction, she hoped she would believe her words. “And?” Tami asked calmly. Joel stood by the door, eavesdropping on them. “I will be your life couch; your alpha.” She spoke in a commanding voice. “You mean royalty runs in my blood?” “Yes my lady it does.” Tami skimmed over the clothes she was represented, resting on Amira’s hands, she took them over from her and walked elegantly, her face grew a beautiful smile of satisfaction, she suddenly frowned and turned over to Amira. “So, I’m I allowed to make friends with anyone?” her evil little mind was after Ramani, and Amira knew. “Yes my lady you are.” Amira hooked singly, she tried to hold in her smile as faced down, Tami sounded c
The lightening disclosed all the strangest things hidden in Joel’s room, Njeru was able to see his wife, Rama and Ram. They gazed at him appallingly, his look towards them clearly disclosed he had seen them, Regina beamed at him with desire, she finally had a casual of encounter with him face to face, for a long time she would creep on him and watched him from a distance, but now she saw him from a close range. Tami concerted on therapeutic Amira, which she efficaciously did, Joel strenuous on his niece along with Ramani, he surveyed over them keenly taking notes on Tami’s actions, Njeru focused on his wife immensely, he did not stop gazing at Regina, she was flawless on his eyes, it had been over a decade since the two came eye to eye; he stirred closer to them; he wanted to touch and feel Regina, to be sure of her existence. Her daughters disputes came flashing in his mind as he moved closer to them. Amira ended her curative progression just on time, and the ostent
Ramani mounted there jumbled, he could feel Amira’s ache, Tami’s feat had affected her much, she went to her uncle’s scope; Joel was still muddled with his sisters grip, he still held on; waiting for her, to go back again.“Knock, knock.” Amira’s bash on the door rouse him up.“Come on in Regina.” He called out on her heartilyAmira walked in staggered, she plainly over heard him call her Regina, but, she overlooked, she knew her mom had publicized herself to him. She walked by closely, and faintly, her legs became feebler as she moved closer to him, she couldn’t move any further, her umph was draining, she had bushed herself with the schedules she had been having, the lesions needed to be treated instantly; she had lost a lot of blood, the wisp she had enclosed herself with on her midriff had sodden deeply in blood. She scrabbled and fell down, but just then, Ramani’s sturdy hands came in
“Come on guys, let us go outside on our favorite shed.” She avoided their queries on their face.“What of the weather, it was….” Joel’s eyes widened with disbelieve, it was calm again, the horrifying weather had suddenly disappeared.Amira grimed evilly, she was in control of the coolness, but kept it a secret from themThey usually sat under a huge tree behind their kitchen, the tree which they planted it together with Regina, the day Amira was born. They always got good memories of regna whenever they sat there, they pictured her climbing on top of it, teasing them with the branches, it was barely strong to hold her, but she enjoyed climbing on it.It Was among the few things which Regina still lived on, Amira too loved climbing on it. She would go on top of it and sat there quietly. One could clearly view the entire kingdom from it, she was the guardian of the nations, she saw a lot from there but kept
“I fell down just now; uncle came to help me up.” Amira stockpiled his uncle’s skin.“Are you hurt?” they both asked her coincidentally“Come on they are just minor bruises.” She eased themShe strained to hide her pain as she stood up, proving to them she was okay. She ignored the pain she felt on her body, she was aching all over, the throw was very strong, it left her with some minor cracks on her bones.“Come dad, join us in a clinch.” As she stretched out her aching arms.Joel knew she was hurting, he felt sorry for her, she was just a teen girl, she was supposed to be the most delicate one, but instead she was the sturdiest amongst them, her pluck rapt Joel, but the more she proved her strength, and her being well the more she got hurt.Joel couldn’t hold in any more, he wanted to tell the truth, to make Amira settle, to allow her wounds heal.“Uhm, Njeru&he
“Okay fine I will talk.” Amira fumbled, as she leaned towards the wall, resting her back on it. The two gazed at her with anxiety, their hearts were melting out with nosiness, she rested at beheld at them, the love in their eyes brought her to tears, she reminisced the previous nocturnal, the events that had unfolded, came running down her head, the strings of broken heart thoughts flashed in her mind, she was in a hard place, if she were to mess again she would lose her uncle to the dark world “Witch.” She muttered before she could stop herself, not realizing she had said it loud enough for them to hear her. She gathered her thoughts and framed suitably her words. “You both might want to sit square; it is a long story.” “Okay don’t hold us up.” Joel stretched out in pain. “Careful uncle you might….” Njeru scowled at her His anger was now getting on another level, he was getting impatient with her. “Uhm, uncle Joel Is a magus.”
