Chapter four

JEANNE'S POV 

The car stopped in front of what looked like a company.

I got down from the car and carried my luggage out.

'Where are we going Mr?" I asked.

"To get your registered.." He answered. I nodded and followed him and we went into an office. There was a lady with glasses and a book was in front of her.

"Here she is, ma'am.." The man said and bowed.

"It's okay, you can leave now.." The lady said and then faced me.

"Jeanne Thalcobs right.." She said and I nodded.

"Your details are already imputed in the system. You just have to be assigned to your room." The lady said and I smiled.

"Daniel.." She called and some guy ran on. He was handsome and looked quite young.

"Yes, Miss Penny.." 

"Can you please fake this beautiful lady to her apartment. It's the Quinn's arena. Room 2.." She directed him and he nodded.

"Hope you enjoy your stay here, Miss Jeanne.." The lady added with a smile and I nodded with a smile.

"Thanks ma.."

I took my luggage and followed the guy but then he was walking too fast. I tried to keep the same pace with him but then I bumped into someone.

"Be careful!" I snapped at him and then I noticed it was a guy. My jaws dropped immediately I saw him.

He was handsome. Damn handsome. He smiled revealing his one sided dimple.

"Hey beautiful.." He called with a smirk. I snapped out of my reverie and rolled my eyes at him before I quickly ran after the Daniel guy.

We got to a particular building more like an house and we walked in before he stopped at a door.

"Here's your room" Daniel said coldly and left before I could even say thanks.

Whatever.

I knocked on the door and immediately a feminine voice responded  from inside.

"Come on in.."

I then opened the door and walked in and the members of the room turned to me.

"Hi, my name is Jeanne, your new roommate.." 

"Whatever, just behave yourself if you dont want trouble.."  One of the girls said and hissed. I rolled my eyes immediately. 

"Hi, I'm Alexa.." A beautiful girl with glasses said with a bright smile.

"Nice to meet you.." I muttered.

"You can go take your bath before we got out to eat lunch.." She told me.

"Thanks.." I said amused by her kindness. I smiled and dropped my bag on an empty bunk before I then took a close glance at the room.

It was extremely spacious and beautiful! Everything in thus place smells like wealth.

Later

I wore my clothes and also my sandals and just then my stomach rumbled. Yeah, I was damn hungry. 

"Are you done?" A voice asked and I looked up to see the beautiful girl with glasses earlier.

"Yes.." I replied.

"Come on, let's go to the cafeteria, I'm starving also.." She told me and I nodded and we both walked out.

On our way to the cafeteria, I suddenly gasped when I remembered that I didn't have any money on me.

"Damn it!"

"Alexa, would you mind going alone. I don't have any money on me.." I told her and she chuckled.

"It's okay, the food's free for us.." She replied.

"What?!"

We got into the cafeteria and then ordered our food. As we carried our good to our table. We continued chatting.

"Why is the food free?" I asked Alexa.

"Thst because the government sponsors everything about the institute, they want the young to grow well.." Alexa explained as we started eating. And to be Frank, the food was top notch, extremely delicious.

"Do you guys have a leader or something?" I asked further.

"Hmmn.." She paused and nodded before she took a gulp of the water beside her.

"Yes we actually do.." She said and that got me more interested.

"We actually call him "The King.."

"The King?" I asked bemused.

"What King?" I scoffed.

"He actually rarely comes out, on a final note, he's an introvert.." She said.

"An introvert?"

"Yeah, but he's damn handsome. I would do anything just to touch him.." She squealed and I rolled my eyes.

"He's an half caste, He's father is American while his mum is Korean. But he looks more Korean.." She said and I smiled.

"He's even a damn good singer. You could literally melt hearing his voice. He's also damn skilled in martial arts. He's an ace.." Alexa concluded.

"Though he rarely sings but those who have heard him sing on rare occasions testifies to this.." Alexa explained.

"Why does he rarely talk? Does he have a sickness" I thought.

Suddenly a loud voice echoed from the speakers nearby.

"All new students are to gather in the gall for the orientation programme within two minutes..'

My eyes widened as did Alexa.

"Come on, let's go.." She stood up and grabbed my hand and we ran out of the cafeteria.

"Are you also a new student?" I asked breathlessly as we ran off towards the hall.

"Yes, I came in three days ago.." She said.

"I was surprised cause you knew too much about the institute.." I told her.

"I have my ways.." She said with a smile.

We slowed down when we entered the hall and breathed out heavily. Students were already gathering.

We took a seat and sat down. Soon the entire hall was almost filled up and the orientation began.

They began with telling us the do and don'ts of the institute and then moved over to our dressing. Before they moved over to our classes.

Suddenly we heard loud gasps and both I and Alexa turned.

"It's the King...'

"He's here..."

"Oh my gawd! He's so handsome"

"Look at his lips.."

"I feel like kissing him"

I cringed at the comments the girls gave him but however I still wanted to see what he looked like

I strained my neck to get glance at the so called king and immediately when I saw him. My heart stopped for a moment.

He was damn handsome.
