Chapter five

JEANNE'S POV

He was damn handsome. I felt like melting when I saw him. His not so long black hair was packed into a tight ponytail but he left some and it fell on his right eye.

His gray eyes was so beautiful and hus heart shaped pink lips added to his handsomeness.

He was really beautiful. I couldn't help but drool over him. Even his cold and stoic face made him look more alluring.

He walked slowly but elegantly and some guys were behind him as he walked. He didn't even look or wave at the students cheering for him.  

We all watched him take a seat with the executives besides the lady who registered me and the orientation continued.

After some time, they invited him over to speak but he refused with the wave of an hand.

He then leaned closer to the lady and whispered something into her ear and she smiled. He then stood up and left with his guards following him.

My eyes followed him till he was out of sight.

"He's cute right.." Alexa whispered to me and I nodded smiling.

He's really cute.

Soon, the orientation was over and we were on way back to the our hostel.

"Which class do we have tomorrow?" I asked Alexa.

"You don't have the timetable.." She questioned him and I sighed.

"I don't, fine.."

"Well, I think we have our arts subjects tommorow. Like music, drama, painting and the rest.." She explained.

"Have you chosen one?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Painting.." She said with a smile and I scoffed.

"Well mine is music.." I told her with a smile.

"Gosh! Jeanne, can't you choose a simple side course?" 

"Why?" I shot back at her defensively.

"I'm only saying this because it's so very hard to get in the music department and you know why? Because Alex is the leader there..' Alexa exclaimed and my eyes widened.

"You must not only have the talents, you must have the skills. A lot of beautiful singers auditioned but most of them were rejected. I don't even think the doors are open this month for any audition..?" Alexa told me and I sighed.

"Come on, let's go in.." She said and dragged me inside.

"Well, I'm Jeanne Thalcobs. I never give up, I will definitely get accepted into the music department.."

Next morning.

Classes were to begin fully this morning. There are no more students to be registered. The last set came in yesterday.

I smiled as I packed my hair into a ponytail. I was dressed already. I was just waiting for Alexa.

"Come on, Jeanne, let's hurry up. We are already late.."

I rolled my eyes, not like i made myself late.

I picked up my phone and was about dipping into my bag when I suddenly heard Alexa speak.

"Jeanne, phones are not allowed in classes. You are only allowed to use at home.."

"You know quite much for a newbie Alexa.." I said and she suddenly kept mute and she heard that kind of weird look on her face.

"Let's go.." She simply said and walked out.

"What's wrong with her?" I shrugged and also followed her.

We finally got to the class and we found that we are having martial arts training first and we were expected to meet in a gym.

We arrived in the gym in less than minutes but they had already begun.

"Why are you just coming?" A stern voice asked and we looked up. 

It was one of Alex's guards.

"We are sorry sir..." I said and bowed briefly gulping hard nervously.

"Next time, you come late, you will be punished.." He said and we nodded.

"Good, so stay in front of your partners.." He ordered and Alexa and I stood in front of each other.

"You can't stay with each other.."

"Hey, you..." He said and pointed to a guy whose back was facing me.

"Go pair with that long haired girl and let her friend stay with your partner.." He said and the guy turned. My eyes widened and a low gasp escaped my lips.

"He was the same handsome guy who bumped into yesterday.."

Alex sighed and went to the other guy while the handsome guy came to me.

"Hi pretty.." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, so we will start with the basic of martial arts, I'm sure some of you are familiar with..."

The class went on and on after that.."

"Ugh! I'm so exhausted!" I groaned as Alexa and I walked to the cafeteria to come and eat.

'Me too, the training was hard and tiring.." Alexa said too.

We ordered our food again and then sat on on the chairs available.

"I'm so damn hungry.." I muttered and I attacked the food immediately. I hadn't even eaten well when some one tapped me.

 Looking up, I saw a strange girl in front of me.

"Jeanne..' She called and I laughed.

"I didn't know I already became this famous.." I shrugged and laughed again.

"I'm not here to crack jokes with you.." The girl suddenly said angrily.

"So what do you want?" I asked now seriously.

"You have not paid respect to our queen since you came, it's one of the things the newbie does.." She said and I scoffed before laughing out loudly.

"Are you serious? I never knew that there was a queen and the institute is a palace.." I said infuriating the girl more.

'You better come with me to avoid embarrassment.." The girl said anger visible on her face.

"Do you think I'm some lowly maid that will just take orders from you, sorry, I'm not. You can go to that queen of yours and tell her that I'm not interested in paying respects to her.." I told and before I could continue eating, she poured water on me and I gasped standing up.

"Did you just pour water on me?" I asked slowly picking my words one after the other.

"I did. Wha..."

Before she could finish her statement, I slapped her hard on cheeks and it sounded because everyone turned to look at us in the cafeteria.

Alexa gasped and stood up also. The look in the girl's eyes was monstrous and she slapped me also. I clenchdf my fists in anger and slapped her hard again and everybody stood up to watch the fight scene.

She slapped mr and then pulled my hair. I elbowed her ribcage and she groaned before letting me go.

"Jeane, stop this. Please. Please just stop.." Alexa pleaded but I was too angry to listen to her.

The girl groaned and stood up charging towards me. I quickly grabbed the unfinished plate of food and threw it at her but she bent and dodged it and instead it met someone else.

Everyone in the hall gasped including Alexa. I looked up also and my eyes widened before a low gasp escaped my lips.

"Oh my gawd! I'm so dead.  I saw Alex standing looking at his dress which was badly stained with the food and worse he was wearing white.

He removed his gaze from his clothes and looked directly at me, our eyes met and my heart skipped.

His special guards made to come and get me but he stopped them with the wave of his hand. Still looking at me, he started to coming towards me.

I felt my lungs dry up and i gasped for breath
