ELENA'S POV

I glance around the beautifully decorated area of the club, it was the VIP section, I smile to myself, I am grown now. it's my eighteenth birthday.

In few days I will be taking over my pack as the next Alpha to the bear shifters.

My uncle has been running the pack since my parents died during an attack by other packs to take over our pack.

They fought defending our people and I will also do the same when I take over.

My uncle has been a good man to me, he and his Vampired wife took good care of me like I was their daughter.

I would really love my uncle to be my right hand when I take over the pack. I thought.

My friends came to me and scream happy birthday into my ear, they all embrace me. They all had gifts in their hand.

They drag me to the dance floor, the music was high, one of the biggest DJ in the pack was hired to give us the best of music from the best musicians in the world.

I began to dance, I was carried away in my dance when one of my guards came to whisper into my ear.

" Elena, you have to leave your life is in danger someone is about to take your life"

I paused when I heard someone was about to kill me being whispers into my ear.

Fear gripped me , I looked around,I  drag the guard to a corner and ask.

" Who wants me dead? I asked curiously.

He sighs and stare at me, I could tell he doesn't want to tell me who it was that wanted me dead.

" I am not going to reveal this to anyone, Just tell me I need to know" I asked.

He looked around and then move his lips to my ear then he said my uncle.

I paused and look into his eyes. I smile and shake my head in disbelief. I was going to speak when I heard gunshot, the target was directed towards me.

I stood lost for a moment,my feet were too heavy to lift of the ground. I was trying not to believe that my uncle had only organized this birthday to have me killed.

The Guard pulled me, he took me through the back door. I could hear screams, I could heard stomping of feet's running out of the club.

The hitman didn't stop, he followed us then I knew I was the target that the guard was saying the truth.

Suddenly I heard the sound of someone fell to the ground , I look back it was the guard , he was covered in blood.

I quickly shifted into a bear and began to run, the hit man key shooting at me, I ran as fast as I could into the woods, I climbed up on the tree, I whimpered hard.

I look down from the tree and I noticed he doesn't know I was on the tree, he was looking for me with his gun in his hand.

I jumped down on him, he tried to fight me , I did my best, he shifted into a bear as well and the gun in his had fell off, he fought me but I was able to use all of my strength to injure him before running away.

I ran so far into a place full of snow, it's mountain as well, I shifted back into human then I sat down and cry so hard.

I felt betrayed, I never thought I will be betrayed by someone I regard as my father.

He was my parents trustee before their death, he showed me love but I never knew those love were faked.

When Simon, my late guard told me my uncle wanted me dead, I wanted to hit him for that but then the truth presented itself.

I got lost in my thought that I didn't notice a group of men had surrounded me, I only looked up and realized I had been surrounded by about five men.

I gasp and quickly stand up, my heart began to beat so hard against my chest.

I didn't know what to do before I knew it, a black cloth was drapped over my head.

" Let me go! let me go! I screamed,yelled, kicked them, all my efforts were to no avail, the black cloth was removed from my face and an handkerchief was used to cover my nose and I passed out.

I slowly open my eyes while I layed on the floor curved to a ball.

At first,I open my eyes halfway, my eyes were still blur with my head hurting.

I try to look around and I realized I was in an unfamiliar place, I quickly wanted to sit up then I realized my legs and hands were binded.

I raise my hand and there was a chain on it which moved along with my leg.

I raise my head to look down to my leg, my hands were chained along with my legs.

I try to struggle to sit, I couldn't, my throat were dried.

I try to call out for help my voice couldn't go farther instead I began to cough.

I began to hear footsteps, I recoiled then the door flew open then the lights were turned on.

There was a man who lead two other men in, he snapped his finger and I was picked up by those men.

They unchained me and was going to strip me naked, I began to struggle with them but they were men, huge and hefty, They overpowered me and strip me naked.

They two hefty men held my both hands and drag me out of the room, they drag me into a glass.

I quickly use my hands to cover my breast.

I began to hear bidding at different prices.

$20,000, $50,000, $70,000 different men kept bidding then two men who look identical stood up and said.

"$2,000,000 in chorused.
