My late arrival

Stephen mark POV

I get home after spending almost two days with Sarah. I was so happy with her that I completely forgot that I also had my home. Sarah was the best, and all I wanted now was to make her my wife after I was done with my divorce. I know she loves me as well, so she won't reject my proposal when the time comes.

I opened the door to the house and it was so quiet. It was still very early to be so quiet, something was definitely wrong. The lights were on but no noise. That meant my family wasn't at home. I start going upstairs, and the house girl greets me.

“I thought there was no one in the house. I mean, it's so quiet in here.” I say to her.

“Yes sir. There is only me in the house. Everyone is in the hospital.” She says.

“Hospital?, what are you saying” I ask her in shock.

“Madam has told me that Laura has been hit by a truck, and she has gone to see her. Madam Ella is also with her.” She says.

I am so shocked to hear this that I storm out of the house like a mad man. I
