Laura's discharge

Ella's POV

After another week in the hospital, Laura was fit to go home. The doctors had done multiple tests on her, and they saw that she was doing ok. At last, the heavens had answered my prayers and spared my precious daughter.

“Mummy. I miss home. Staying here is so boring.” I hear Laura saying to me. She was so excited that she would no longer be at the hospital. I look at her and I smile. My daughter was all fine. I don't know what I would have done if I had lost her. I would have probably died too. She is my life.

“Yes, darling. I am also tired of coming here every single time. It's so boring. But we are going home today. So don't worry about it, baby. Mummy got you.” I say as I wink at her. She gives me a warm smile.

My mom and Luka were here too. They were helping clear the hospital bill as I parked Laura's belongings. Luka was always here for me. He had risked his job for me and I appreciated that so much. Too bad I did not give him my answer yet. But I promise myself tha
