CHAPTER 104

Nora thought that she was going to be brave. After having the slight conversation with Riley she felt as though she had been lightened of her burdens but she didn't know how to approach Alex. Their relationship was already strained and it was and the lady thought that she wanted or needed to make the situation any harder than it already was.

She let out a sigh from her lips as she made her way through the corridors. She passed by the front desk and she noticed that Maggie wasn't there anymore. She was intrigued by her absence but she didn't say anything about it at that point. She felt her body tremble ar the thought of it as she inhaled deeply.

She decided that it was time for her to check his office. She dreaded the thought of doing that. She remembered what had happened the last time that she was there but she also remembered his apology. She made her way towards his office and knocked on it briefly.

At first there was no response as she waited briefly. She heard some shuffling on
