Chapter 10

Daniel pov

“Mom!” I shouted at the top of my voice after looking around and Hope was nowhere to be found.

“Daniel, why are you calling my name like that?” She asked angrily and walked to the sitting room where I was.

“Where is Hope?” My mom sat on the couch with her legs crossed, she pretended like she didn’t hear what I said.

“Why are you asking me that kind of question, am I her keeper?” My mom’s reply made me know that there was something wrong. They must have done something to her that’s why she’s nowhere to be found.

“Mom, if I find out you did anything to her I will not be kind to you.” I said to her and walked away from the sitting room. I summoned all the maids to the sitting room. After asking them several times no one could tell me where she was.

I felt like I was losing my mind already. Just when I was about heading upstairs I sighted her walk in with some bags, she looked dirty, even the maids looked better than her.
