Chapter the 014 WEB OF LIES

Damian's POV

As soon as Nana told me that Leah had locked herself in her room, I sprang into action.

I rushed towards the stairs, my heart racing with concern. In my haste, I almost fell down the stairs, but I managed to catch myself just in time.

I didn't even care, my focus was solely on reaching Leah's room as quickly as possible. I took the stairs two at a time, my feet pounding against the steps.

I reached the top and ran down the hallway, my mind consumed by thoughts of Leah and what could be wrong.

Hope she hasn't harmed herself. She had tried it before but I was in time to save her.

I finally reached her door and tried the handle, but it was locked. I knocked frantically but didn't get a response.

I tried knocking again, a bit louder this time "Leah open the door, it's me," I said.

"No! I don't want to see anyone not even you, so Leave me alone" she replied.

"Open the door first, whatever the problem is we can talk about it"I pressed on.
