Damian's POV

I sat in my office, the bitter taste of coffee lingering on my tongue, my gaze fixed on the screen as I attempted to decipher the perplexing images before me.

Silence enveloped the room, broken only by the soft hum of the computer and the gentle rustle of papers scattered on the desk.

The quiet in the room made the moment feel heavier, making the mystery in front of me even more puzzling.

Just as the door let out a faint creak, shattering the silence, I paused mid-sentence, my fingers hovering over the keyboard. I lifted my gaze; Clinton walked in, his expression somber.

"What's the problem?" I asked, irritation creeping into my voice. "I need some privacy right now. Can't it wait?"
