She was stunned when the cab Dino and she were riding in came to a stop at a motel. He grabbed her arm to assist her in exiting the vehicle while she was still in shock. She avoided looking at the driver out of shyness because she knew he was already having negative thoughts about both of them.
She stepped out of the cab silently. Dino handed the payment to the old driver. She waited for the car to leave before speaking.
She softly questioned her fiance, "W-why are we here again?"
She lost count of how many times he took her there throughout their six-year relationship, despite her repeated refusals.
Dino pleadedly said, "Yaz, give me what I want. Our wedding is next month, right?"
"That's right. You've already waited six years, so how long will we wait to fulfill your request legally? How long is one month?"
He remained silent. She could even make out the gaping of his jaws when he turned to face another way.
The tone of the man's voice was a mix of sullenness and fury. "Are you always going to disgrace me like this? In the six years we've been together, it looks like you still don't trust me."
She had a somewhat guilty feeling. Dino found it difficult to suppress his needs as a man. Her parents were pretty traditional when she was little. Despite how much she adored her boyfriend, she couldn't commit herself to him because of her conservative personality.
"Din," she said as she reached out to touch her boyfriend's face.
He called a cab passing by.
His forehead was creased, and he didn't even look at her, saying, "I can't accompany you to your home anymore. I'm going somewhere else."
"Where are you headed?"
He no longer appeared to be in the mood, saying, "Just anywhere! Go ahead. Get in the cab."
She boarded the waiting cab with reluctance. She was ashamed to take the front seat. Her attention was caught once more by Dino, who was in a different cab. He left right away and stopped speaking to her.
She was restless when the driver started the car. Her mind stayed on Dino. She was on the verge of exiting the cab and consenting to Dino's demand. She is, after all, going to be his wife in a month. She might have said yes to him if he hadn't quickly gotten into another cab.
Last month, he also asked her out, and it was then that she first observed a difference in his behavior when she declined. He used to understand her reasons for not wanting anything to happen sexually between them.
She had dreams of giving herself away on their first night as a married couple. Since she was a young child, her mother has ingrained in her mind that the nicest present she can give her spouse, according to her, is her virginity.
When Dino invited her that day, she assumed they were just going for a casual stroll. She had the day off because it was Sunday. She's an office clerk at a small company. She didn't anticipate his attempting to request again for a sexual encounter.
As soon as they halted in front of their house, she paid the driver and alighted. Her parents weren't there because they went to visit her Aunt Ellen, his father's sister, in Manila. A celebration was being thrown at her aunt's home because her husband had just gotten back from abroad.
Dino invited her out, so she declined to go with her parents. She also doesn't get to go to her aunt's house as much now that her relationship with Carrie, her cousin, didn't work out when Carrie discovered her boyfriend sneakily flirting with her. The first time Troy made an attempt at cheating on her, she told her cousin about it, but Carrie didn't believe her.
Instead, Carrie became upset and began behaving differently around her until she herself caught her boyfriend. Carrie learned about the texts the man had sent her that she had never replied to.
Her cousin confronted her and referred to her as flirty instead of becoming enraged with Troy.
She formerly resided at her Aunt Ellen's home because she attended high school there. She decided to go back to her hometown when she was in college due to the deteriorating friendship with Carrie. Her aunt was still helping her out financially with her studies until she graduated.
Since her father's accident rendered him unable to work, he has been assisting her mother, a market vendor. Their Aunt Ellen offered to help because their parents couldn't afford to pay for their education.
She had barely visited her aunt's house with her family a handful of times since leaving because she still hadn't resolved her misunderstanding with Carrie.
Joshua, her younger brother, is currently employed in Manila. Currently, her brother is staying with her Aunt Ellen. They owe a great deal to their aunt, and she would never forget that.
She immediately went straight to her room and locked herself in. She sat on the bed and picked up the phone. Dino did not text. When he couldn't bring her home, he would always call or text to make sure she arrived home safely.
She tried to call her fiancé, but all she heard was the phone ringing. He didn't pick up the phone when she called him five times.
She just let it go because she thought he was just grumpy. She was aware that he would soon feel better and be able to communicate with her once more. Her fiancé was unable to go a day without clearing up their disagreements.
She sighed and set the phone aside. She took a forward glance. She grinned at the sight of the bridal dress hanging on the hanger. She got to her feet and went to the dress.
The outline of the dress is simple. Dino was with her when the dress was measured. The dress she will wear to their wedding next month is white. They both agreed that a white traje de boda would look good on her, so she was confident she would wear it as she made her way down the church aisle.
Given that she comes from a very traditional household, the fact that she will be a virgin bride is very significant.
She never gave into temptation. She never caved in to pressure. She only allowed Dino to kiss her. She always stops his hands as soon as they begin to move. She still has her self-control.
She stroked the garments. Her superstitious mother advised her not to wear it; she hadn't done so yet.
If she doesn't try the gown on, how will she know if it fits? Will they only make it a problem on the actual wedding day?
She gently took the clothing off the hanger, as if someone had urged her. Without looking away, she laid the clothing delicately atop the bed.
She removed her clothes, leaving only her underpants behind. As soon as she put on the wedding dress, she was unable to conceal her enthusiasm. It is the perfect size for her.
She went straight to the big mirror in the cabinet and gazed into it. She grinned. She looks great in the dress. She doesn't have makeup on yet still looks stunning in what she's wearing.
It's not boring to observe her beauty. She has fair skin, long hair that is straight, and Dino's hue contrasts sharply with hers. Her guy used to be the school's popular boy. In elementary school, they were in the same class, and when they entered college, they grew closer together.
"Yazmin! I'm going upstairs. I've been asking you for a while-"
Mhariel, who had just arrived, was stunned when the door to her room opened.
"Come on! Why are you wearing your wedding dress?" She asked in surprise when she saw her wearing her traje de boda.
Mhariel is younger than her and also her elementary classmate. She did not finish school because she dropped out of college. Right now, she's just helping out by keeping an eye on her parents' store.
"Is it lovely?" She smiled and asked that question. She paid her friend's recent remarks no regard. She is also aware that Mhariel does not hold superstitious beliefs.
The shock was gone from her friend's face, and Mhariel approached her while examining her bridal gown.
"Why is your wedding dress so tightly cuffed? I'm hoping you at least bare a little skin—if just on your shoulders. If I'm getting married, I'll dress very sensually." Her bed was empty after she moved away from her.
Mhariel always feels like home to them because she is often in their house. She has other friends. She is really a naughty girl. Her family is used to her friend's behavior.
She took another look at herself in the mirror.
"It's alright. Dino also liked it when he looked at the design."
"Hmm... Bear in mind that the ladies will pursue Dino. When you get married, perhaps you'll appear more like an old-fashioned lady." Mhariel was still face down on her bed, and her voice seemed void.
She observed that Mhariel's short skirt was still slipping. Additionally, the woman had a flowing blouse on, exposing more of her flawless stomach and a navel-piercing earring.
She was also unsure of how their relationship had developed given their vast differences. Mhariel has several suitors because her friend is very attractive. She switches men like she switches outfits.
She was ready to speak when Mhariel’s phone rang abruptly. When she turned to look at the phone screen, she noticed the glimmer in her eyes. She excitedly stood up and then sat on her bed.
"Hi! I'm happy you called. I thought you two were together. Ahm, okay. I'm not doing anything. Why? Where are you? Alright, I'm going there. " Her friend's excitement cannot be denied while talking to the person on the other line.
"Yaz, I'll go out first." Mhariel promptly said her farewell.
She even went to her drawer, put on her lipstick, and used the makeup there. Her friend even combed her frizzy hair.
"Another boyfriend?" She teased, keeping an eye on her friend.
Mhariel simply grinned mysteriously.
"When will you introduce him to me?" Before the woman exited the room, she questioned.
She looked at her.
"Once he chose me over his current girlfriend!" She giggled when she answered her, then hurriedly left her room.
She simply smiled and shook her head. Mhariel recently ended a two-month romance, and in less than a week, she has found a new one.
She took the phone while still dressed in her bridal gown and sat on the bed. She made another attempt to call Dino, but his phone was busy.
She frowned. He might be speaking with his supervisor.
He works for a sizable corporation as an engineer. Since they place a higher priority on saving for their marriage, he has only recently begun, so he hasn't actually purchased the items he wants to, like a car. Her fiancé has lofty goals.
When her boyfriend's line was still busy, she begrudgingly hung up the phone.
She felt bad for turning down his request again. She might agree to the man's request if he tries again.
After all, she will be Mrs. Yazmin Ibarra next month. She doesn't want them to experience conflict prior to their nuptials.
What if she gives him her present in advance before becoming his bride?
That evening, Dino still hadn't returned her calls or texts, which made her restless. In fact, it appears that he even turned the phone off so that she could no longer get in touch with him.She was still at home alone at nine o'clock in the evening, even though their parents had to be returning from Manila by then.Because their home was too quiet, she became even more restless. She had given her decision from that evening a lot of thought. She made a decision and stood up from lying down. She'll visit Dino's rented property. Dino's family was from the province, so his cousin was staying with him there. She is aware that every Saturday, his cousin, a student, leaves for home and comes back early on Monday. She was certain that Dino was by himself in their rental home. She smiled, though the concept made her uneasy. She got ready and went to see him. She brushed her loose hair and covered her lips with thin lipstick and powder. She immediately left after being satisfied with her appea
The conversation between her and Dino did not happen because she immediately filed for a leave from work for three days. It was good and it was approved right away, so she just left for Manila all of a sudden. Her alibi to her parents was that she had to attend a last-minute lecture in Manila. Dino, on the other hand, keeps calling her but she doesn't answer. Dino can't go to her right away because he's at work. She took advantage of that since she no longer wanted to interact with him anymore. She went to Manila to meet with Sheena. Sheena was a classmate and friend since elementary school. They only separated when Sheena got to work in Manila last year. For a long time, her friend has pleaded with her to go to Manila so that she can go sight-seeing and explore at night. In fact, she urged her once more to come spend a week with her in Manila so that she might experience the nightlife at least once before getting married. It was a good thing this time that she didn't immediately decl
The next afternoon, Sheena was already busy fixing her. She took another shower and used a blow dryer to dry her hair. Sheena styled her hair and let the loose waves fall. She applied a color, which she initially rejected, but Sheena insisted that it was temporary. She claimed that in order to make her look different, they must first change the color of her black hair. She didn't say a word anymore and just let her friend continue with her work. On her, she applied lipstick. It seemed to be a little thick, so that it took a little while to remove. She only nodded. Despite the thickness of her makeup, she was happy with it. When she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, she felt like a different person.Around five in the afternoon, Sheena finished fixing her. Sheena made her wear the clothes she would wear later. She was right. That dress was too short and daring. Her cleavage is visible. She wanted to wear a blazer to cover it up."What do you have to say? Don't be shy because y
"Sean!" Even Miguel's booming call to the newcomer could be heard by her. She was unable to see the guy's face because Miguel had his back to her.Miguel called the man who was dressed simply. He was dressed in pants and a white polo shirt. The man's arrival was strong despite the fact that his back was turned on her and his attire was simple. She had previously heard the guys discuss his name.As they greeted the man they called "Sean," the band grew even louder. She believes they are pals. She was about to see the man's face when a woman who had just entered the group abruptly blocked her vision. The two women followed him and drew closer to where he was standing, making it much harder for her to see his face. She simply averted her gaze, then looked at the person sitting next to her who gave her something to eat off the table. She hadn't eaten yet, so her stomach was immediately growling. Are they planning to go on dates there? Or will they choose another venue? They might end up e
She hastily set the glass on the bar counter, stood to leave, and then abruptly sat back down. When she stood up, she felt dizzy all of a sudden. He helped her sit up straight right away. His smile vanished when he inquired, "Are you okay?"She shook her head. She was feeling better once again, yet something felt off. She sighed once more."I-I'm alright,"He told the bartender, "Give me a glass of water," and handed her the glass of water. She accepted it right away and drank everything. She was quite thirsty. He was worried. "Have you had too much to drink."Maybe that was merely the result of her allowing the hunger to pass. She reasoned, "N-not yet."Her phone vibrated as she was about to say goodbye. She noticed that it was Mhariel calling once more when she gave it a closer look. She hung up the phone in frustration, but Mhariel didn't seem to want to stop.He took another sip of wine, curious, "Who's that? A jealous boyfriend?"She paused when she unintentionally accepted Mhar
He approached her and reached out his hand while facing her. "Please undress me." He said that with a disturbing tone of voice. She saw that the hairs on her body were standing up, and her eyes shifted to the man's bulging middle thigh. She gripped it unconsciously and had the impression that her hand had a mind of its own. "Ahhh, shittt..." He continued to glance up and murmur gently. He responded in a way that gave her encouragement. She was already feeling that part with both hands. She unbuttoned the slacks he was wearing, her hands appearing to tremble. She was about to lower the zipper when he flashed a lowering glance at her. Their eyes were clearly burning as they exchanged long, intense looks. He suddenly laid her on the bed while climbing on top of her when his pants finally dropped to the floor. He passionately whispered in her ear, "I want to take our time, baby, but let's try it another time because right now, I just want to devour your body." Right away, he gave h
After paying, she exited the taxi without delay. She walked into the condo building with large steps. She nearly raced to Sheena's condo unit after exiting the elevator. She was also surprised when some men came out of Sheena's apartment out of the blue and carried all of Sheena's things out of the condo. She turned to face the elderly man who was directing a group of men carrying her friend's appliances. His face is familiar. Now she can remember him! He was dating Sheena. She was displaying her boyfriend's picture to her.She dared to come near him."W-where's Sheena?"He turned to face her right away."Are you also going to try and get that woman to pay you back? Keep your expectations in check because that shameless chick has already left!" After saying that, he looked back at the porters."I-I'm Sheena's friend."She almost said, "Ex-friend."The elderly man sighed unpatiently and then turned to face her once more."As I have stated, that b*tch fled. Wow! She left behind a sizabl
She pushed him with all of her might. He allowed her to push him before intensifying the way he kissed her lips."How dare you!" She gave him a strong slap in retaliation for his bravado. She slapped him, but he didn't even budge. Instead, he appeared to be teasing her with his glance."You sang a different tune that night. Have you forgotten already how compatible we were in bed?"Even though her face began to heat up, she was even more irritated by what he said."That was a mistake!"He laughed, seemingly finding humor in what she said. She stopped talking after that and hurriedly opened his car door to exit. Thankfully, he let her go.She quickly retreated to her aunt's home. She was unsure of Carrie's reaction as her fiance abruptly yanked her away. It was fortunate that everyone was inside and that no one else was outside when the man suddenly grabbed her. Before reentering the house, she paused briefly to fix herself. She searched the area for her parents. She saw them chatting
Even though their hearts already knew that Baby Alyanah was their child, they still needed to have a DNA test done to comply with protocol. Once it was proven that the baby was indeed their child, they could formally file charges against those responsible at St. Therese Maternity Clinic, including Latonia, Patrick, and the mother-daughter pair of Manang Minda and Divina. Both of them were nervous as they looked at the test results. Their eyes widened in disbelief when they saw the confirmation that Baby Alyanah was truly theirs. Sean embraced her tightly, and a mix of emotions overwhelmed them at that moment. Visitors flocked to their home when they heard the news that their real child was alive. Their parents, siblings, and even their relatives brought their families to their home. They held a baptism for Baby Alyanah alongside a welcome and thanksgiving party for her. Even the young woman who was the biological mother of the deceased baby attended as a guest. They rep
Because crying doesn't help, even though she was scared, she tried to stay calm. She looked out the window and watched the scenery as they passed by.Even the smallest details, she crammed into her mind, hoping they'd be useful if she ever got the chance to escape the man.Her gaze shifted back to the floor of the man’s car. She suddenly felt a surge of hope when she saw something that could help her if he tried to harm her. They had passed mostly wooded areas, and it was still very dark. She noticed Patrick glancing at her now and then."If you agree, we can run away. You can forget about your husband and kids. We can start our own family somewhere no one knows us. Where do you want? London? Australia?"She looked at him in disbelief. He must truly be insane.Instead of rejecting him, she just played along. It’s hard to anger people who seem to have mental problems."What about your job? What about Latonia?" She surprised herself by saying this calmly. She saw the excitement on his f
"Miss, if you don't give me the details of the woman who gave birth before me that night, you might get involved in the case even though you have nothing to do with it," she threatened the receptionist at St. Therese Maternity Clinic. She didn't contact Patrick anymore, especially when she saw that he was the one who spilled water with oil on the floor. She was afraid to confront him, not knowing what could happen to her if he found out that she knew. She went to the police and submitted the evidence she had about the man. He was already listed in the blotter at the station, and she was just waiting for instructions on the next steps. She wanted to inform Sean so that he could accompany her. She knew he would get angry once he found out. He might even go after the man, which was another thing she was afraid of.When she got home, she would tell her husband everything she had discovered and show him the video of the incident at Rajah Hotel. She really needed to know who the woman was w
His forehead furrowed as he read the information provided by the investigator about Patrick de Asis. He already felt a strong aversion toward him when he saw him again with Yazmin. However, it wasn't just jealousy that drove him to have the man investigated. Apparently, Patrick was doing quite well in life. In fact, he was a business partner in one of Latonia's father's enterprises. His brows furrowed even deeper. Could the two of them know each other? What a small world! But why did they seem like strangers when they were in the clinic together? He shrugged. Maybe it was only Latonia's father and Patrick who were acquainted. He shook his head as he discovered that Patrick had three settled cases. He had been reported by three women for stalking them. He knew it! There was something off about the man, especially the way he looked at Yazmin. Based on the report, the man had an obsession with the women he fancied. He wouldn't stop to the point of stalking them, which ex
She slammed the cards down on the table in frustration. "Damn it!" Minda exclaimed angrily. It seemed like she had only won once that day. Bad luck was following her around. Suddenly, the baby lying on her lap, held with just one hand, let out a piercing cry. The sound grated on her nerves. If she weren’t earning money because of this child, she would have gotten rid of it long ago. Besides, she was waiting for the one million pesos payment from Miss Beautiful. Finally, she could get out of this babysitting job. She had never dreamed of taking care of a child at her age. In fact, she had once persuaded Divina to abort her first pregnancy. She almost jumped when the baby's cries grew louder. "Hey, Minda! Feed your grandchild already. It looks starving!" yelled a driver, annoyed by the noise. She was still at the jeepney stop. Even though she wasn’t begging anymore—thanks to the generous woman interested in the baby—she still hung around there. Why? Because she had be
She stayed in that dark corner while holding the baby. She didn’t know what to do with it. It was all Patrick’s fault—letting the baby live. She only used the man when she noticed how much he idolized her, practically worshiping the ground she walked on.It all started with a dummy account. She couldn’t move on after learning that Sean’s employee, whom she thought was an ordinary staff member, was actually his wife. Her father had been hoping Sean would end up with her. When she and Sean were together, everything seemed fine. Even though she heard rumors of him flirting with others, she didn’t mind much. After all, they played the same game. She didn’t want to be tied to one person either. She had her fair share of flings while in a relationship with Sean. But over time, she began to hope that he would take her seriously. She stopped entertaining other men and acted like the perfect, loyal girlfriend. She thought everything would fall into place, but then she started noticing how clos
He glanced down at the woman who was occupied with bringing him joy. The woman's head was bouncing up and down on his two hands as she sucked his manhood. Her hot mouth and moist tongue made him bite his lip hard. "Ahhh! Suck it! Hmmmph! Ahhrghh!" he said. His hardness was being stroked by her hands as well. He was also adjusting it there when he sensed that she was going to eat away at his entire manhood. She abruptly shifted from her spot in the center of his thighs. Since she wasn't wearing a bra, she taunts him with her attractive big breasts. Her stiff, hard nipples were sticking out, and it was clear that she had not worn a bra when she first came. He had already appreciated that about her. When he was with her, he was always horny. Since the lady has a reason, it appears that her goal is to constantly turn him on.He had countless fantasies about her gorgeous body, but he never imagined that he would actually taste it. He was aware that his appearance paled in
The baby's cry was loud. The sound of its wailing stirred her consciousness. She struggled to open her heavy eyelids."The baby's alive!" A woman's voice exclaimed.Hearing this, she summoned all her strength to open her eyes, even if just halfway. Though her vision was blurred, she saw a woman in white holding a crying baby. She smiled faintly. My baby... she thought. She attempted to lift her hand, but it was too heavy to move. Her gaze fell on the baby's tiny foot. Before losing consciousness again, she saw, albeit faintly, the image of a brown mark on the baby's sole. She smiled once more before succumbing to sleep. She suddenly woke up, eyes wide open. She bolted upright, despite Sean's arms still wrapped around her. Pulling the blanket off her husband's body, she rushed to check his sole. There it was! She saw the small heart-shaped mark on the sole of his foot. Her fingers traced the mark, and tears began to fall. In her dream, she had seen the same mark on the sole of their ch
Patrick picked her up in front of a convenience store. He said they were going to meet the woman who had also given birth at St. Therese Clinic the same day she was taken there.Sitting in Patrick's car, she was overly self-conscious as she adjusted the scarf around her neck. She wanted to be annoyed at Sean, but she couldn’t help smiling whenever she remembered his words."You're still mine..."That line kept echoing in her ears. Miraculously, even though she had left him alone with Latonia, she didn’t feel a shred of worry. She was certain Sean wouldn’t give in to his ex’s flirtations. Were all her doubts about her husband back then merely a result of her pregnancy? Or perhaps they stemmed from her insecurities about her body during that time, making her feel Sean might look at someone else. Adding to it was the manipulation from a dummy account that eventually led her to deactivate her social media account after giving birth. She wanted peace of mind and even changed her number to
