He then goes over to the head of the table where Atlas sits, and rubs Atlas's head of hair as if Atlas were five and desperate for attention. Everyone at the table looks at him in shock and confusion as Atlas lifts his father's hand from his head, and throws it off angrily. What was the damn man up to anyway?

One thing Atlas notices is the fact that the other eleven men look healthy and strong, but all act like ninnies.
