Lana stopped in front of the panoramic glass. Outside, one floor below, was the running track. There were no cars on the asphalt, everyone was in their appropriate garages. The race track rented sports cars so that visitors could take unforgettable rides in million-dollar vehicles. In the pit-stop identical to those on official tracks, two men were talking.

"Will is at the pit stop" Lana informed, pointing beyond the clear glass.

Ethan agreed, then led the redhead beside him to the stairs leading to the track.

The dark and worn asphalt symbolized a real runway. The route was long and inviting, making people long to feel the steering wheel in their hands. The stands weren't as big as expected, but they didn't need to be. No one would go to that speedy paradise just to watch.
