Blair received Spencer's message five minutes before entering the elevator. She keyed the panel, indicating that she would go down to the basement. The redhead leaned her back against the steel wall, and sighed as the elevator descended to the parking lot. She carried a small folder with her, with the notes she made during Spencer's silent days.

The truth was that those reports were superficial. They didn't contain the real desire she felt for the man, nor the intense looks, nor the common desires. There was no right way to describe that feeling growing in his chest.

And when the elevator doors opened again, underground, Blair headed out, already with a decision in mind. It would be impossible to reconcile Ethan with the investigation. She couldn't continue to be loyal to Spencer, not when her entire body vibrated alongside another man.
