Salvador had shielded Luna's sight with his chest all these while, but it wasn't enough to down out the cries and agony that fills the air.

Luna slowly moves away from her savior when it all turns silent. Bile rising up her throat when she caught sight of the now blood red river.

Salvador rubs on her back, holding her hair back while threw her lungs out.

The teeth monsters were gone. The river flowing normally. Nothing out of the ordinary except for the new colour.

Jeff was still on the ground, the exact spot he had been sitting all along. Unlike Luna he had watched the whole scene play. Replaying it over and over in his head.

It was only when he saw a bloody finger drifting on the surface of the water that it hit him.
