“ Ladies and gentlemen, she has arrived. Our own little princess. Please join your hands and assist me in greeting Princess Luciana Vonner!” said the announcer. As she made her way to the top of the platform, the crowd went wild, waving banners and posters bearing her name and face. They began screaming her name soon after.Todd's team had finished securing his protection gear around his limbs. He, too, started walking towards the platform.“And here he comes from the red corner. the Prodigy from the North," The announcer added, "Up against our very own princess is Aedmer Todd the undefeated!" The crowd's attention was drawn to the small boy. His entry wasn't as raucous as Luciana's, but it was still chaotic and noisy. The crowd seemed to back each of them equally, as their swaying support swung in either direction. The only thing they wished for was a good battle.Todd arrived at the platform, where his techs were already on their way to him, opening the metallic suitcases and pulling out whatever was inside. They dashed over to the small boy and began strapping him with whatever they could get their hands on. As they strapped it to Todd, it appeared to be a sophisticated exoskeleton constructed entirely of metal and rubber cables that ran through each portion. They exited the platform and returned to the hallway once they were finished. Todd flexed and stretched his arms and legs to ensure that the fit was proper and that he would be able to move with the machine covering him."Do you think you're going to beat me with that?" Luciana started it with a grin on her face."Don't talk too soon princess. You never know when your words will come back to bite you!" Todd remarked. The umpire went through his routine. He approached the two and pushed them together so they could hear what he was saying. As he had done with the other two bouts, he explained the rules of the game to them. After completing his instructions, he stepped back and signalled the announcer to start the match. The deafening blare sent them scurrying back to their corners. As she strolled past the Blue Line, Luciana polished the stoppers on her vials.“I'm hoping you won't be a letdown of an opponent princess. Todd mocked himself, "I'd hate to watch you lose to a toddler.""I believe your admirers will reconsider changing your nickname after this." I'd rather you were known as Todd the Toddler rather than The Prodigy from the North. Todd and toddler have a lovely ring to them when they're used together, don't they?” Luciana responded with a retort.Todd charged forward, homicidal intent in his eyes. Luciana appeared to be attempting to antagonise him. She took a vial from her bag and tossed it into the air. Todd looked unconcerned about the Vail, and he continued his assault. He swung his arm in the direction of Luciana's head. It missed her by a hair's breadth, snagging a few hairs. The hit was more strong than she had anticipated, and she had to proceed with caution. Todd lunged for another strike, but he seemed to have forgotten about the Vial that hung over his head. It collided with him, shattering the glassware and spilling the contents upon his clothing. Despite this, he appeared unconcerned. Luciana moved across the floor, grabbing another vial and throwing it at him. Todd slapped it away with his metallic arm."I see what you're attempting to accomplish, princess." That trick of yours isn't going to work against me. I witnessed your other friend go up against the lone wolf and try it. However, I am not as stupid as he is,” Todd added. He tapped the bottoms of his mechanical boots on the ground, and two rocket thrusters protruded from the soles. He was propelled towards Luciana at a faster rate than before. She was left to react and was caught off guard with a gut punch. Fortunately, she was the most reasonable of the three candidates, and she had covered her abdomen with protective clothing. The pads did their best to absorb the majority of the punch's initial energy, but it was too much for her, and she was sent flying across the platform at breakneck speed. He slid all the way over the platform and was tossed to the ground. The umpire was on his feet and counting down the permitted 10 seconds as soon as her body made contact with Earth. She dashed back up to the platform before the count reached six. As she climbed back up to the platform, she brushed herself off. She was irritated by the toddler's silly grin.“Are you not prepared to fight this battle? I thought you were your school's top fighter?” Todd made fun of her.“ and The Prodigy from the North has landed a key hit". The commentator exclaimed, "We certainly did not expect this match to start off like this." Luciana's supporters gathered around her, pushing her to stay in the fight. She took another vial from her bag and devised a new tactic. It appeared that the toddler had figured her out and that her plot had been exposed. As the toddler moved, the mechanical joints in his exoskeleton created strange noises. On the other side of the platform, Luciana could hear the vibrations as he stepped on a tile. The exoskeleton appeared to be too heavy for him to walk in while wearing it, but he accomplished so with ease. Luciana grabbed a vial from her bag and flung it to the ground. A dense cloud of smoke began leaking from it and engulfing The Platform in a Mist. Her eyes shifted as she drank a potion from another vial. Her pupils shrank and her eyelashes vanished. Her eyes took on a feline appearance, resembling a cat's. She dove into the haze. The remainder of the crowd had no idea what was going on.Todd was having trouble breathing. He imagined Luciana was attempting to put him to sleep in order to terminate the struggle, but he knew her pride would not allow her to do so. He didn't want to take any chances, so he took out a powder sachet. He ripped it open immediately and shoved the powder into his lips. It was designed to seal his mouth and nose, rendering any gas he inhaled other than air inert.A hand appeared out of nowhere in the smoke and moved towards his midsection. It was too late for his slow reflexes to respond, but luckily for him, he had a cutting-edge weapon at his disposal. The exoskeleton twitched, and his arms crossed in response, forming the guard that repelled the Punch. Luciana was thrown back into the fog by the recoil. Fighting the toddler seemed difficult at the time because Luciana felt like she was fighting two people: him and his exoskeleton. Todd's decision-making and movement in a battle were aided by an artificial intelligence built into the exoskeleton. On paper, he appeared to be obviously cheating. But a fight is a fight, and Luciana had to prove herself, and she didn't need any excuses to do it. The cloud of smoke began to dissipate quickly."Do your strategies appear to be ineffective?"Todd remarked."Why don't you take off your metallic companion when you and I could fight fairly?" Luciana murmured, her annoyance hidden behind her face. "How about you put down your vials and we have a fair fight?" Todd barked back.“You're not even in a fight. How can you call this a fair fight when that machine is doing all the work for you? While you sit back and let your technology do all the job for you, I, on the other hand, rely only on my abilities,” Luciana explained."Well, we didn't make this technology just to sit around and do nothing, did we?" Todd remarked.“It appears that a princess is having some difficulty dealing with The Prodigy from the North,” the announcer added. Despite this, the crowd rallied around her. She didn't want to disappoint them, so she had to do something important for them. At that point, all of her strategies appeared to have failed. She recalled something at that point./………………………………………………………………………../Luciana, Norval, and Cecily were all raising their voices in a competition to see who could speak the loudest. It was more of a noise war than a discussion. Behind the class, Nelanian and Jalon sat. Jalon was engrossed in the adoration of his admirers. He was live-streaming the three of them arguing. Nelanian, on the other hand, had had enough of their squabbles. He needed a nice nap before the start of the following lesson, but out of nowhere, the three began a loud argument that woke him."I'm telling you, using simply vials, you're not going to be able to compete with a Seolaran. Either you must have a weapon with which to confront them in combat, or you will lose." Norval tried to rationalise his argument by saying, "It's that simple."“ I'm not suggesting you should only employ explosives; you can also utilise mutagen to change your body and turn yourself into a weapon. You have a chance if you do that,” Luciana replied, raising her voice above the others so that her message could be heard. Cecily was not making a significant contribution to the discussion. She moved back and joined Nelanian and Jalon since her voice was too mild to be involved in a verbal battle between the two. When Luciana and Norval were out of breath and realised they couldn't let the other win, they asked The Spectators to make the final choice and crown the winner.“ Ok fine. Let us ask the three of them, and whoever gets the most votes has the best plan,” Norval explained. "Agreed," Luciana remarked as she laid down her books. They both turned to the three people who were quietly going about their business and disturbed them.
“ Guys, who has the better plan? How about you, Jalon?” Norval inquired, turning to face Jalon at the far end of the room. Jalon waved his hands and gestured at Luciana without looking at them. In answer, Luciana nodded, making a witty face at Norval.“How about you, Cecily? Don't tell me you agree with her as well?” Norval was the one who inquired."Actually, no, for once, I agree with you. Fighting a Seolaran with only mutagens and potions will be difficult. You might have a chance if you have a weapon,” she added. Luciana stared her down with menacing eyes. Cecily hid her head in her book, unable to bear looking into Luciana's searing gaze any longer. With an equal number of votes, it was time to call on Nelanian to break the tie.As he turned away from the desk to face them, Nelanian sighed. They waited for him to speak as they peered at him impatiently. “You guys are far from the truth,” he finally said, bored of the tension and the attention he was attracting. " Seolarans have a serious flaw. Whatever weaponry they employ, whether a rifle, an exoskeleton, or a high-tech outfit, they must all be fueled by something. In order for Seolarans' weapons to work, they must carry a canister filled with fuel, similar to how Lorth and Yulcites bring their books to battle. They make every effort to conceal it, but it's too large for them to handle while fighting, so they keep it close to them. They will be rendered powerless if you locate and destroy the canister. And it is the only way alchemists can ever stand a chance against Seolarans,” he murmured, before burying his face back into the desk and falling asleep again.
Norval and Luciana exchanged looks. To a degree, Nelanian was correct, and they pondered why they had never considered it before./……………………………………………………………………………………………….../Luciana began scanning her surroundings right away. She needed to locate the canister, which she knew was nearby. She also knew he had to keep it secret so the toddler wouldn't figure out what he was up to."Are you going to attack me once more?" Todd was the one who inquired. ”If you don't attack me, I'm going to attack you, and I'm not going to be so lenient,” he remarked. He allowed Luciana a chance to consider her options before growing tired. The rocket thrusters sprang to life again, pro
"She's awake," Luciana heard a voice say from within her dream. she was coming to. Jalon had snuck close to her. She fought to open her eyes and could hear footsteps rushing tothe other side of the room as she did so. Someone was up to no good, she realised right away. She straightened her back and lowered her feet from the top of the bed to the ground, resting them over a pair of sandals next to it. She was blasted with an increasingly terrible headache as soon as she did so, and all she could do was clutch her head. On the other side of the room, she could hear Jalon's quiet giggles. "Can you tell me what happened?" "How did I end up here?" Luciana inquired, struggling to regain her balance.“You've been out for quite some time." Norval tried hard not to laugh as he stated, "The medical staff brought you here after your match with th
Because the King's Castle was close to the mountains, the temperature within the castle frequently descended to uncomfortably low levels. Mr. Ethel enjoyed warm weather. His own mansion was located near a saline lake in the east. As a result, he wore thick attire most of the time when he went to see the King. Mr Ethel entered the Castle wearing a big black overcoat and a sweater underneath it. He was escorted to the meeting by his business associates. They were not directed to the throne room as they had expected, but to a ballroom to the right of the Castle. Inside, the monarch himself was waiting for them. King Vonner had no intention of inviting anyone into the castle for a feast, much less meeting up with those who were already there. So was odd that he called Mr Ethel out of the blue to invite him to dinner. He couldn't afford to turn down the offer bec
The nurses passed out trays of hospital food as they strolled around the ward. Norval and Cecily were grateful for the nurse's thoughtfulness. Jalon, on the other hand, was not one to beeasily satisfied, although he appeared curiously happy and thankful that day."What the heck is going on? What's wrong with him?" Luciana inquired, swallowing a lump of potatoes as she turned to Norval, who traced her gaze and finally found Jalon's face, smiling uncomfortably as if he had never smiled before."I understand." Norval replied, finishing the last of the roasted beans on his platter, "I guess it's because of the nurses or something, maybe he's trying to get theirnumber."As she began to scream at him, Luciana cleared her throat and cuppedher palms over her mouth."Hey Jalon, by the way, your girlfriend called you last night, and I t
Nelanian found it difficult to open his eyes. The sun shone brightly in the morning, and the birds outside the shanty couldn't stop singing. He finally succumbed to their annoying alarms and decided to get up. Over the last three days, his headaches had gotten worse, and his hand had gotten even worse. The twitching became more frequent and intense. Everything appeared to be going wrong for him at that point. When he went outside, he noticed that the weather was calmer than it had been on previous days. The trees had not been ripped out of their roots, and the sunrise was visible on the horizon, unlike the last days that were filled with violent storms. He noticed that the market had already been renovated and that most of the stalls were up and running as he glanced downwards towards the village. Nelanian beat off the dust on his trousers and began his desce

I think it's safe to say you're ready to be released. If you're ready to depart, you can leave right now " said the nurse. If you're ready to depart, you can leave right now " said the nurse. hank you very much, nurse. You have no idea how long I've been looking forward to hearing it. Luciana remarked, "It's like I've been trapped in this room for all eternity.""Well, I'm delighted to hear you're doing well,” said the nurse.said the nurse. Luciana rose to her feet and made her way to the front entrance. "Mr. Barr, and you as well. The doctors have agreed that you are also fit to be discharged after additional evaluation. They haveperformeda last examination on you lastevening, and they have saidyou can return to the hotel,”
The hotel was deafeningly silent. Nothing except the clanks of ceiling fans rotating could be heard. Luciana, who had been running for warmth, had become tired of it. She was on one of Jalon's couches. Jalon On the other hand, was outstretched on the bed, messaging feverishly on his smartphone. The television was turned on, but none of them bothered to search for a suitable channel to watch. On the screen, there was nothing except static. Luciana was finishing the final slice of the pizza they ordered. The remaining half-eaten crusts were strewn around the coffee table. They were each completely immersed in their own worlds. ] Jalon would occasionally put his phone down and yawn long and loudly before picking it up again. Luciana began flinging pieces of paper she ripped from a d
He didn't sleep for the entire day. He didn't even bother to look for a place to sleep. All he could think about was his family's safety. He'd just escaped a confrontation with the Kingdom's most viciousman. It was a gift that was camouflaged as a danger. The only reason his life was spared was so that he might act as a threat. He was a Messenger, and he had a critical message to deliver to his family. He must bring his daughter to the King's Audience or suffer dreadful consequences. Any father in his position would be just as concerned as he was. Her own daughter's life was in danger. Despite this, he remained sceptical that the king would keep his word. What if Cecily accompanied you to the meeting? Was her life on the line? What was the meeting's purpose? Mr Ethel was perplexed. He was on a jet back to his home in no time, making the 5-hour ride seem like an eternity. He was on h

He, like Rhaizen Gale, had to be dealt with!”Luciana's surprise was palpable.“Are you saying you also orchestrated Rhaizen Gale's death?”“Now that's something I didn't do. But I'm grateful to whoever put that scum to death. He helped me save a lot of time and money,”Luciana was on the verge of crying. Her father's statements had a deep and hurtful impact on her.“Now, I'm going to call the tailor back, and he'll help you choose the b

Before she slid on the floor, the others ran to her and provided her with anchorage. Mr. Starkridge went on to say, "Even all of you agreed with me that Nelanian was not a good fit for this institution. Throughout the history of this school, several notable alchemists who have gone down in history as the best alchemists to ever live have graduated from its halls. Because of our institution's outstanding performance, the government rewarded us by entrusting us with the task of training Ithea's champions. Then Rhaizen Gale appeared! That knucklehead,"Cecily muttered under her breath, "Stop it, stop talking." The rest of her classmates did nothing to obstruct the director's speech; they were all ears."That fool walked the corridors as if they w
The villagers he passed through were as friendly as usual. They didn't let him walk by without welcoming him. He returned the courtesy by greeting everyone and anyone he met on his way. On the exterior, Nelanian appeared to be energetic and happy, but on the inside, he was in pain. The headaches were awful, but he seemed to be able to ignore them. When he arrived at the Old Man's homestead, he was greeted by Sam. " Are you up for another round of sword combat, Nelly?" little Sam asked. Nelanian hated it when he had to disappoint the kid. He sincerely wanted to play with him, but his body was in such bad shape that he couldn't even lift a wooden sword and swing it. He patted Sam on the head and told him the terrible news "I'm sorry, kid. I'm afraid I won't be able to practice with you today. Perhaps another time?"Sam's brow furrowed. "ok. Perhaps
/……………………………………………………………../It was at that point promptly in the first part of the day. Luciana considered taking a dip in the housetop pool, however she recalled her last experience and immediately pushed the thought insane. She decided to go for a comfortable walk outside the lodging. She'd been there sufficiently long to realize that local people wouldn't upset her with demands for signatures or photographs. She stirred from her sleep and started strolling to the cold earth floor. A recognizable face dealt with her before she strolled to the lift. ""Hello, Rascal!" He was called by her. Somebody had offended Todd, so he returned the gaze. ""Who on earth are you calling your rascal?" says the storyteller. With his voice very nearly breaking, he asked. 'Are you the whelp who attempted to kill me?' Luciana commented.
“I apologise if this causes any trouble; nonetheless, the circumstances were unexpected and unanticipated. Wardric simply left without warning, and with little time to work with, we didn't have many options to choose from, so the committee simply decided to proceed to the third and final phase of the trials, which does not involve the participation of foreign students,” the judge continued, flipping through the pages of a notebook he had brought with him.“And when will the trials' last phase begin? ” Luciana inquired. She had been deafeningly quiet for the majority of the time. She knew exactly why the proceedings were being handled with such carelessness: the whole thing had been rigged. Even though Jalon outshined her, the trials had already been completed and she had already been named the champion of Ithea. If the results had been released at that precise moment, Jalon would have been in first place, with her in second and Norval l

We inquired of Nelanian as to whether you ever administered mutagen to him throughout his training. He showed us the medicines you provided him, which were examined and determined to contain traces of blue fire," Cecily explained further, pulling out other documents from underneath her grasp.Luciana's face was a picture of horror. The notion of their own principal attempting to assassinate his own student."Is this true Mr. Starkridge? Tell us right now! " Luciana added her two cents to the interrogation.Mr. Starkridge slumped in his chair and sighed deeply. "Look at you, young detectives," he said, "so were you going to ambush me with this knowledge and hope for me to kneel and confess?" /……………………………………………………………………………………….../His house was in Oasis, which was a thickly populated town. The majority of the Nobles lived there. Expensive homes appeared to be the rule of the day. It was to create an extravagant home or a high-end hotel if one purchased land there. That was the standard that any construction in town was supposed to meet. It quickly became a haven for the wealthy. The cab driver had never entered the town, partly because he didn't look to be capable of doing so. As he approached the gate, he was surrounded by

I'm astonished you didn't die from the amount of blue fire in your system,” saidthe doctor. Nelanian wiggled his feet and hands to see whether they were still there, but he couldn't feel them. He calmed down afterhe noticed the blankets moving; he hadn't lost them. “Doctor, what's wrong with me?” he inquired. Before setting the clipboard down, the nurse gave him a long sympathetic look. “Listen, this is going to be difficult to hear, but you need to know this for your own good. “You have a brain tumor!” exclaimed the doctor. “Wait a minute!” The nurse approached him and sat beside him on the edge of the bed, telling him what she had learned. Cecily stood outside the door for
