When Farrell said those words, I stared at him like he had hit his head, or maybe he was on crack.

Where was he moving to? And why can't I be the one to move.

"What?" I finally asked with my face scrunched up.

"This house is fully guarded by eight new men, and there are helpers and workers at your beck, and call," he said.

"And how does that justify you leaving?"

"Is this a ploy to go back to your mistress? Haven't you had enough?" I asked, and he stared at me with an angry face.

I couldn't care less at the moment because all the necessary damages had been done.
