The fight

Molly:

The next time I opened my eyes it was night time, and I found myself lying on the bed with an empty bottle in my hand. My head was aching from all I had taken, so I forcefully pushed myself up to get pain killers.

As soon as I stepped out of the room, I heard Kate yelling over the phone. My heart skipped a bit when I heard what she was conversing about. The phone was on speaker, and I recognised Larry's voice asking her to calm down and not do something irrational to me.

"All she could do was come home, and empty a bottle of my wine. She should be on her feet begging for mercy. I can't believe i spent my whole life investing in this friendship,"

"Fuck!" She yelled, slamming her hand on the table. It sounded more like a movie because I couldn't believe Molly would pick his side of the story over mine. She was right about the investment in friendship. We had been friends for long, and knowing she chose to believe him over me hurt so much.
