After what Larry said, I didn't know how to act. I was enthusiastic and very much overwhelmed at the same time. Going to a literary function would definitely help my life if I played the right cards.

When I was done with my food, I stood up and exited the shop. Then I crossed the road, and stood in front of the office building for a while.

"Is someone afraid to go to work, or do they plan on resigning already?"

I heard Rose's voice from behind, and I looked back to see her standing behind me. She looked beautiful today, and she was wearing a bright red dress which made her skin pop, and her lipstick was spot on.

At least something changed in her, I said to myself. I hadn't seen her for about two days, and the first thing she thought about today was to pick on me but I was going to ignore her. With a sigh, I made my way into the building while she trailed behind.
