2021-06-13 19:02:26Kenneth stood up and paid his respects to his parents for the last time. He turned around and found Alec looking at him with confusion. He knew what he was thinking about; why is the Mad King acting so calm when he's usually chaos?
He knew what Alec had in mind, but he was so tired that he couldn't even pronounce a word. People had always known him as the dangerous king no one should approach, and he got used to it by now. It was no use explaining everything to them.
Kenneth took the crown from Alec's hands and put it back on his head. He walked away from the cemetery, and the guard followed him.
Alec pressed his lips tight as he tried not to disturb the silence. Kenneth was walking gently, with his hands behind his back, and he wondered where his calmness was from.
