"So what you are trying to tell me is that the magic worked and everything went according to plan," Payne said, taking a sip of his wine and popping one chunk of meat into his mouth. He was eating steak for dinner.

"Yes, it did; they will leave tomorrow morning with her. I managed to convince them that she is just a healer, just like you told me." The person at the other end of the phone answered.

"Good job, Stephen. I will transfer the cash to you when I am done eating for a job well done."

"OK, when do I get to speak to the person in charge?"

Payne rolled his eyes and answered, "You are speaking to him right now."

"Come on, I mean, the so-called grand master, I need to be sure that I picked the right side and that nothing will backfire."

"Nothing will backfire, Roderick told me that you were not so hard to convince, and besides, I heard that Reagan threw you out of the window, so you must hate him like I do, so do not act like you did not have it in mind to rebel against the Royals.
