THE LITTLE LUNA'S REVENGE
Author: Xterian

Prologue

Olivia's pack's mating party would be held soon. This was always something they looked forward to. Everyone was very happy, especially the Omegas.

Omegas don't shift because their wolves are too weak to come out. Right there, Olivia was also hoping to find a very powerful wolf as a mate so that she wouldn't be bullied anymore but anyone. Not that she wanted too much, she just wanted someone who could stand up for her.

The preparation of the party was already on and this was a motivation for Olivia who was an omega. She seemed to be the most excited one in the pack.

She finished her work for the day and decided to walk home. Ariana, her friend, had given her a little snack to sustain her till she went home because that was another round of work. Ariana had already departed for her home, leaving Olivia. On her way, she met three men on the way.

She knew the three of them. The three were wolves with high ranks in the pack and they were like brothers. The most powerful of them was the most handsome guy in the whole of the pack and many of the ladies in the pack wanted him. His father was also the current Alpha of the pack so those three were highly influential.

Olivia had always loved to stay away from them because they were so arrogant and didn't even look at Omegas. She greeted them and didn't even wait for their answer before she scurried off. They too didn't even do as if they saw her.

When Olivia got home, her mother had prepared food and she was glad about it. Although she was wondering why her mother would do such a thing. She rarely does anything in the house and wouldn't even let her twin brother help her.

She was hungry but scared to go eat because her mother might not permit her. She went to her room. She knew that today there was no food again. This wasn't the first time they would starve her.

She couldn't help but to imagine who her mate would be. She didn't want a ranked wolf. She wanted someone who could at least stand up for her and take care of her.

"Olivia!" Her mother shouted.

Olivia quickly got down from her bed and rushed to her. She didn't know what she had done for her to shout like that.

"Yes mommy" she said when she got to her.

" Your father wants to speak with you," she said and then walked away.

Olivia walked after her and she went to their little living room. She saw her father seated, already waiting for her.

"Daddy" she called.

She didn't even dare to sit knowing her father could hit her, if she did without permission.

"Sit, I have something to tell you" he said to her calmly.

Olivia didn't know why he was calm today. He always looked at her with the look of irritation. She wasn't having a good feeling about this.

"Besrael wants you to be his wife" he said to me.

It was like someone hit Olivia on the head with a huge stick. She went dull for a few seconds.

"Didn't you hear me?" Her father said with a stern voice.

" Are you..... Talking about Besrael the old farmer?" She asked in a low voice.

She didn't think her father would be so mean to give her to such an old man. Besrael was the oldest man in their pack and he already had three mates that died of what they don't even know. He was a dirty old man that sometimes fed on worms. She didn't want to believe her parents hated her so much to do that to her.

"Which Besrael do you know?" Her father snapped.

Olivia was shocked. That man was old enough to be her father's great-grandfather. Knowing how long werewolves lived. Besrael is almost a century old. She looked at her father and tears rushed down her cheek.

"Am I so useless to you?" She asked with so much pain concocting in her chest.

She didn't know that she was hated so much for wanting to be handed over to her ancestor.

"What are you good for? No one will want you. You better be happy that you even have someone who wants you" her father said with disgust in his eyes.

Olivia was angry. She has heard enough of her father talking her down as if she didn't take after him. She stood up from where she was.

"I will not and will never marry Besrael!" She shouted.

Her father stood up and went to her. He slapped her so hard that she fell to the ground. Oliver screamed in pain at the effect but she was determined that she wouldn't let them destroy her plans. She knew that things would change for her at the mating party. She's got high hopes.

"I am your father and you will do as I say!" He bawled at her.

The way he was looking at her, she knew that if she said any more words, he was going to beat her like a punching bag but she didn't care. She has taken too much insult from her family and she wouldn't let them destroy her totally.

"You call me useless because I'm an Omega? You look down on me from what I inherited from you. Listen father, you are not in any way better than I am. I won't marry Besrael because I know my mate is at the mating party!" She shouted back at him.

This was the first time she would raise her voice at anyone. She had always let them ride on her but this was the height of it.

"How dare you call me useless!" Her father yowled boiling with anger.

He then began to hit her.

"I will not marry Besrael!" Olivia wouldn't stop shouting despite how her father was hitting her.

He wasn't only using his hands, he was also using his feet and soon she was covered in blood. It was then her mother rushed to him and made him stop.

"No, let me kill her!" My father growled.

" No David, you've hurt her enough," her mother said.

Although she never cared about Olivia, yet she couldn't take it anymore when she was already bleeding.

"I would rather die than marry that old man," Olivia shouted.

" Shut up!" Her mother shouted.

Olivia struggled to stand up and she dragged herself to her room. Her father was so angry that he felt like snapping her neck. Seeing that her husband was still so vexed, Linda took his hand and patted his back.

"Why not give her to Besrael after the mating party. If she doesn't find a mate then, then we can send her off to Besrael '' Linda said.

David looked at his wife and nodded.

Olivia didn't know why they treated her as if she was the only omega in the pack. There are a lot of omegas like her and none was ever treated like trash. She cried so hard that night that she couldn't even have the strength to cry more.

That same night, her mother knocked on her door.

"Your father had agreed that you won't go to Besrael until after the mating party. If you can't find yourself a mate, you are surely going there" she said without even entering.

Olivia couldn't imagine how a parent could be this wicked to their own flesh and blood. She didn't know that there could be such cruelty in the world. She cried herself to sleep.
