Episode 6 final

After a minute, I decided to get so as not  to give her high BP. I stood up, she started saying thank you Jesus, waving her hands to heaven

"Baby you scared me, I thought you are gone" she said. "You thought I was gone? So that's what you want. U want to ki-ll me" I said. "No. baby I'm sorry". I didn't listen to her, I just carried the blanket and pillow straight to the sitting room to sleep. She followed me. "Baby I'm sorry naw, I'm sorry" she pleaded." Ify just leave me alone please" I said.  "I'm sorry, it won't happen again" she begged.

"Okay I've heard you but this is where I want to sleep tonight" I insisted. She tried to convince me to go back to the room but I refused. "Ify just go and sleep I'm fine". I said. "Are you sure?" she asked. "yes I'm sure just go" I replied.

"I love you" she said. "I love you too..... but go and sleep" I responded.

Ever since that day my wife has calmed down oday marks 9 months since my wife took in.

We were together in the kitchen, I was cooking and she was assisting me.

Don't think she's the only one who knows how to cook. I'm also a good chef. I taught her how to make pepper soup, she also taught me how to make egusi soup.

She was gisting or should I say gossiping with me about a neighbor of ours who got divorced. She said it's because the woman is dirty. How on earth does she know that the woman is dirty!?

After sometime she began to complain that her waist hurts so I told her to sit and rest but it got even worst.

Could it be the baby coming? just immediately, her water broke and confirmed my assumption. I rushed her to the hospital and called her mother.

After all the tension, running up and down the baby came. My Ify is a strong woman, it didn't take much time as I expected. It was a baby girl. The moment I held my first fruit, I felt butterflies in my belly. I was over joyed!

I brought in my wife's mother for the “omugo”. It took 2 months before my mom in-law decided to go back. 2 good months without knack. Just after we said farewell to mama I told my wife that I've missed her and she gave me a bad look. I wanted to walk out but she held me back "so it's because of this small thing you want to walk out on me? I'm just pulling ur legs... I've missed you too" she said and I smiled. I don't remember who started k!ssing first but the rest is history.

Marriage or genuine relationship is not always a bed of roses. It takes two to tango. You need compassion to relate. You need understanding, knowing your partners weak and strength buttons and making use of them at the right spot.

No one is perfect! You can only work out the perfect one... I wake up every morning with smiles on my face. Each time I think of the past experience I do laugh about it. Her lies has made me discover a lot of things...

Many thanks to our biographer, the writer.
