CHAPTER 65

After traveling for about 30 minutes, José became apprehensive. First Mateo had not called back and when he tried to call, he discovered that they were out of service range. If he had known that they were entering a no network territory, he would have left markers at every turn. But now after making up to 6 turns, he was finding out that Mateo might never be able to find them. He was crossed between going back and keeping the jeep in sight. He really didn't want to go against organ traffickers on his own.

He had slowed down and just kept at a speed that made sure he could see their tail lights while driving blind. Just when his fear got the better of him and he was about to make a U-turn, the Jeep seemed to stop moving and its lights went off.  José also stopped and got out of his car.
