As the moon cast its gentle glow on the forest, I felt a mix of anticipation and doubt swirling through my heart. I had escaped from the May flower clown under the noses 9f all the guards. I felt terrible for doing that but the fate of the clan rested on my shoulders, and I knew I had to act swiftly and wisely. Alpha Mathieu's proposal to betray my mate and align with his clan echoed in my mind, urging me to make a decision. I already knew what side I would choose but before doing anything else, I had to speak to Alpha Gerald, the one who truly understood my fears and hopes. At least that's what I believed.

I had waited until I was sure everyone was asleep before I slipped out the safe from an old window I had discovered and as I made my way through the dense foliage, my steps quick and cautious, my heart was filled with fear. The forest seemed to hold its breath, as if aware of the significance of this moment. Images of the ongoing war zone flashed before me, making my heart flutter w

Facing Alpha Gerald, I knew that presenting my brilliant plan would require more than just intelligence to execute it. It would demand impeccable acting skills and unwavering dedication. But if I wanted to save the mayflower coven, it was a risk worth taking and I hoped that Alpha Gerald bought the idea."Alpha Gerald," I began and he cut me short by shaking his head"Why do you keep calling me Alpha Gerald? You're my mate Liz and not my subject so please just call me by my name or better still a name only you can call me" he said and I nodded my head trying to steady my nerves. It was not that I wanted to keep on being do formal with him but that was all I knew how to be with him at least for now "Okay Gerald, I'll definitely look for something nice to call you by" I smiled at him and he smiled back"I have come up with a plan that could help us protect the coven and also win this war against Megatron and if possible find out how they could gain access into our clan."Alpha Gerald r

It was a sunny afternoon as I made my way towards the Megatron clan, my heart pounding with both excitement and nervousness. The time had come to give Alpha Mathieu an answer, and my plan to deceive him was in full swing. Alpha Gerald and I had strategized meticulously, hoping to gain as much information as we could for the Mayflower clan to use against him. It was a risky move, but it was the only way to protect our pack and ensure their safety. As I walked through the lush forest, the leaves rustling under my feet, my mind raced with the upcoming conversation. How would I approach Alpha Mathieu? What would I say to persuade him to trust me? I knew that gaining his confidence was critical, even though our true intention was to betray him in the end. Finally, I arrived at the edge of the Megatron clan, a formidable yet beautiful place. The scent of pine filled the air, mingled with the underlying tension that accompanies a pack on the brink of war. I took a deep breath, steeling mysel

As the days went by, I found myself being dragged into the depths of the Megatron clan more often than I ever anticipated. Alpha Mathieu seemed insatiable in his thirst for information against the Mayflower clan, and his incessant summoning of me was becoming a rather unwelcome routine. Honestly, I despised being in his presence. There was just something about him that screamed evil."Ah, Lizzy, my dear," Alpha Mathieu greeted as I entered his dimly lit study once again. The air was heavy with the scent of aged paper and faint traces of incense. "I trust you have something valuable to share with me today?"I plastered on a polite smile, trying my best to conceal my growing distaste. "Alpha Mathieu, I've gathered some information as per your request. It seems the Mayflower clan has been expanding their network, establishing stronger alliances with other powerful families and clans."He leaned forward, his beady eyes filled with anticipation. "Tell me, Lizzy, who are these families? How

Finally, I felt a sense of relief as Alpha Mathieu listened to my request for some breathing room. His summoning of me every two days was really becoming overwhelming ad not only did I hate being in his presence but I was running out of half baked information to tell him about the Mayflower clan but now with this new found freedom, I could now devote my attention to my own pack which was my main priority and understand my role in the plan Alpha Gerald had been meticulously crafting. The information I had gathered from my interactions with Alpha Mathieu at work formed the foundation of our plan. Even though I sensed his lingering lack of trust in me which was why he still didn't tell me everything but it was enough for now. What the little information I had gathered revealed pointed towards one shocking revelation—the traitor within the Mayflower clan was none other than a member of the king's cabinet.Alpha Gerald and I sat down in his dimly lit study, surrounded by maps and document

As I continued my shady business of being a fake informant to Alpha Mathieu of the Megatron clan, I managed to somehow gain the invaluable advantage of having Alexei, Alpha Mathieu's brother from the Megatron clan, on our side. With him as our inside ear, gathering information from the enemy clan has become much easier. He had started being friendly after our first encounter and when one day while I was on my way to Alpha Mathieu's library, he intercepted me and we got into a conversation that made me see that he was going to be an asset to my cause. As I walked through the dimly lit corridor of the alpha's mansion, my mind raced with thoughts of strategy and determination.Just then, I spotted Alexei standing alone by the grand staircase. He looked troubled, his eyes filled with anger and frustration and when he saw me, he immediately started walking towards me like he had been waiting for me."Lizzy, I'm so glad you're here" he said when he got to me and my voice laced with concern

I continued to play my part perfectly although I was really shocked at all he was revealing. I was listening intently to Alpha Mathieu's story about how he convinced Jonathan to join his side. Though internally, I felt a mix of awe and worry at the escalating depths of deception in the war."Alpha Mathieu, you are truly remarkable," I said, making sure admiration was evident in my voice. "To have someone so close to the Mayflower clan is a game-changer. With Jonathan as your ally, we can gather invaluable information about their plans that they don't even tell me."Alpha Mathieu smiled sinisterly, pleased with my response. "Indeed, Lizzy. We must utilize this advantage to its fullest. Our people are counting on us to return the leadership of the throne to them."I was not going to lie and say that I was not scared at the outcome of events because this man was really going to any length to ensure he wins this war."Alpha Mathieu, we must remain vigilant and continue to gather informati

As I stepped into the Alpha Raymond's office, I could feel a sense of tension hanging in the air. It was the next two weeks after evidence had been laid before the elders and everyone knew that Jonathan, the Alpha's right hand man himself, had been found guilty for betraying the Mayflower clan. The punishment for such a grave offense was always severe. Whispers of his impending fate had filled the corridors for weeks.Alpha Raymond leaned back in his chair, his brow furrowed with a mix of anger and sadness. "Lizzy," he called out, recognizing my presence. "Come in, please."I entered the room and closed the door behind me, feeling a sense of responsibility. I just felt like it was my duty to aid him in any way possible. "Yes, Alpha Raymond?" I asked, my voice trembling slightly. I was a tad bit still scared of my mate's father till this day.He sighed heavily before speaking. "Lizzy, we have made a decision regarding Jonathan's punishment. The day of the final war arrived, filled with tension and anticipation. I stood by Gerald's side, knowing that this was the culmination of all our careful planning. I had convinced him to go to the battlefield, promising to remain undercover and guide him through the chaos. As the battle commenced, confusion spread among the soldiers of the Megatron clan. Their plan seemed to be completely different from the reality unfolding before them. I watched from a safe vantage point, my heart pounding with a mix of anxiety and excitement. When the attacked an area where they expected our soldiers to be they were met with surprise and it was really a joy to watch as it was obvious that they didn't train as hard as they would have if they thought they didn't have a way to cheat. Not long after, I noticed a flicker of recognition in Alpha Mathieu's eyes. He had caught on to what was happening, but by then, it was far too late. As rage flooded his face, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentm

Lizzy's POVAs I slowly woke up in the cozy warmth of our tent, my body still ached from the tiresome labor. I struggled to piece together the hazy memories of the long night. I only remembered being hovered above but Joan and the women before I finally succumbed to the beacon of the anesthesia I had been given. But as my eyes focused, I saw Alpha Gerald standing near me, his strong arms cradling a bunch of clothing and it took me a while to realize that it was our child. Our precious baby. A mix of excitement and exhaustion washed over me, and tears flowed freely down my cheeks. I was a mother. I had built my own family.Gerald turned towards the bed when he heard some movements and the sound of my sobbing and I saw his face light up as his eyes met mine and he walked to the bedside. As he came closer, I could see that his eyes too were filled with unshed tears and it made me even tear up the more."She's here, Lizzy," Gerald whispered as he came to sit on the bed, his voice laced w

Gerald's POVIt felt like an eternity since the labor started. I had been preparing to go hunting with some of the rouge's turned park members when Joan had come running to me and I had left everything to go to her but soon I was sent out of the tent. Lizzy's excruciating screams resonated through the camp, sending shivers down my spine. I paced frantically outside the tent as Joan and a few other women were tending to her. The faces of the women that were outside with me, were etched with worry, mirroring the concern that gnawed at my own heart. But I had to remain strong.I glanced at the male pack members, their eyes filled with anxiety. Ethan, the leader of the rogue park stood beside me, his firm gaze fixed on the tent. We shared a silent understanding - the well-being of our new pack was intertwined with the happiness and health of Lizzy and our newborn. The piercing cries grew louder, and I could barely contain my impulse to storm into the tent and alleviate Lizzy's pain. Yet,

Life in the woods became a seamless routine filled with love and support. Despite the challenges we faced, we remained resilient, constantly looking out for one another. We had each other's backs, knowing that together, we could overcome anything. Even the nightly creatures if they came to look for us and find it by para venture. As the days went by, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being watched. On several occasions, I caught glimpses of shadows lurking in the trees, their presence sending chills down my spine. But I refused to let fear consume me. As long as they kept their distance, I was determined to focus on the happiness and safety of our pack. I wanted to mention it too Gerald and Joan on several occasions but I changed my mind as I didn't want to burden them with thinking we were being watched especially as I didn't know for sure and it turned out to be just paranoia. One evening, while Joan and I sat around the campfire, cooking dinner and waiting for Gerald to ret

The icy wind cut through the Mayflower clan, matching the somber atmosphere that hung heavy in the air. Ever since the news of my pregnancy had spread, the town had become consumed with fear and uncertainty. Whispers followed me wherever I went, and the worried glances from the werewolves increased day by day. I had absolutely no idea that birthing a halfbreed would bring about challenges and even if I did I possibly couldn't have foreseen the extent of it at all. It seemed as though everyone was fixated on the idea that our child would be unable to control their blood lust, causing a rift in the very fabric of our peaceful community but the basis of there fear was not even proven as in recent years.Restless nights turned into sleepless weeks, and each day brought new concerns as I waited for Gerald to make up his mind concerning the solution of me running away from the clan and going somewhere far away. Even in the privacy of Alpha Gerald and I's bedroom, I couldn't shake off the

The next morning, as the sunlight gently filtered through our windows, illuminating the room, we woke up to face the challenges ahead. Over breakfast, we delved into a heartfelt conversation, sharing our hopes, fears, and ideas for how to navigate this delicate situation. I didn't even have an appetite but I had to eat something for the baby."It's crucial that we engage with the community," Gerald suggested, his voice calm and assured. "We must educate those who hold misconceptions and challenge their outdated beliefs. By fostering understanding and spreading awareness, we can encourage acceptance and embrace the diversity within our pack."I nodded in agreement, feeling a surge of determination. "We could organize events or workshops, where we invite members of the community to learn more about our child and our beliefs. Open dialogue and interactions might help bridge the gap and dispel their fears."Gerald smiled warmly, impressed by my suggestion. "That's an excellent idea, Lizzy

The day Joan returned from her travels, she arrived at my doorstep in a state of panic. I was sitting at the balcony, receiving some fresh air when she practically ran into me. It was evident that something had shaken her to the core, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency in her demeanor. I welcomed her inside, concern etched across my face."Lizzy, why don't you ever listen to me," Joan said, her voice trembling. "I told you to keep your pregnancy a secret until I arrived even from Gerald but what did you do? You went ahead not to tell only Gerald, but the whole effing clan!" She quiet screamed me while looking around frantically.I guided her to the living room, offering her a seat on the comfortable couch. Her behavior was making me panic too but I tried my best to act cool and collected "What's the matter, Joan?" I asked gently, trying to steady my own racing heart. Gerald and I's bond continued to grow, and we couldn't keep our hands off each other. It was as if our love was blossoming along with all the flowers around us. So, when I started to feel sick every morning and nauseous every hour of the day, I didn't need a doctor or healer to tell me that I was pregnant. I was carrying a child inside of me and the first person I decided to tell was my sister. I called Joan and told her immediately and although I didn't like how she responded to my news and the reason why she told me that I must keep it an utmost secret until she returns from her travel. I didn't think it was necessary to do that but I told her I would just to avoid any other long talk. I also tried to keep it a secret but I could not keep hiding it from Gerald at least.I remember the day I decided to share the news with Gerald. I was nervous, wondering how he would react, but I knew deep down that he would be supportive. We had never discussed having children in all the years of ou

After the death of his parents, Alpha Gerald fell into a profound depression. It was a devastating blow for both him and me as I had to step in and cover for him in public appearances. I understood his pain, but as time went on, the pressure became too much for me to bear alone. The people, too, began to mutter. They questioned why Gerald had withdrawn from his duties, not realizing the weight of his grief. I knew that he still had responsibilities to fulfill, and although I empathized with him, I couldn't help but feel the mounting frustration within me. It seemed as though he didn't care about anything else anymore. One day, my frustration reached a breaking point. Joan was visiting and it didn't take her long to notice my distress. She came up to me at the kitchen counter and remarked, "Relax your shoulders Lizzy, it seems as though you've been carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Is there something bothering you?"Unable to hold my emotions back any longer, I poure

As the sun shone down on the Mayflower clan, I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of joy and contentment. Everything was going so well, and we all lived in peace. Gerald, my mate, was thriving as the new Alpha, and the people revered him for his leadership. As their Luna, I tried my best to make sure everyone was okay, constantly checking in on the pack members, and offering a helping hand wherever it was needed. However, our newfound harmony was short-lived when tragedy struck. It was not long after we restored total peace into the clan that we received the devastating news of Alpha Raymond's illness. As the news spread like wildfire throughout the Mayflower pack, a somber atmosphere settled over us all. Alpha Raymond had been a beloved leader, respected by all and even though his relationship with his son was strained, it was still obvious that Gerald loved his father very much.Gerald and I rushed to Alpha Raymond's side, hoping to offer comfort and support during his tim
