CHAPTER 3

1980, NEW ORLEANS

The Three brothers were sent by their father to hunt down a powerful witch named Shamim.The witch and the family were fraud, he was considered a dangerous threat to the family. The Three brothers went for a hunt, they stayed out of the mansion for almost a month. It wasn't that easy to find shamim, she had so many places that she was found.

Shamim was there only fraud. She had killed their mother and little sister, so for them hunting her to kill her wasn't a rough sin.

On the middle of the forest, the boys stopped when they heard a strange sound coming from not too far away from where they were standing.They were footsteps, footsteps of a crowd of people coming to their direction.

"Wait, this is too strange" Kai ordered with a hand up like a student ready to answer a question in class.

The three boys stood attentively like soldiers ready for battle, facing the direction where the footsteps were coming from.

Few minutes later, They were circled. A crowd of people with different heights, skin colors, ages and sex. Probably they were sent by someone

"Let me guess, werewolves?" Kai said

"and vampires", Xen added.

Xen was very good at sensing vampires, because he was once a vampire himself. When his brothers were werewolves only, he was all alone a vampire and then he got turned into a wolf making him a hybrid.

"Stretch your arms brothers, we just come across our lunch"Kane suggested.

The battle begun.

The three brothers were strong enough for the crowd of werewolves and vampires, this was not a tough task to them.

Kane charged first and then the whole crowd went into action. There was only one way of killing the vampires and werewolves, reap out their heart out of their chests. None of the boys transformed into their full form, they stayed in human shape. But the rival werewolves were all in their full shape. But that didn't slow down the three boys.

Few minutes the crowd was as good as dead, all on the floor. Blood stuck in all of their clothes, it had been a nasty war.

"Well well, you are indeed strong", shamim appeared, clapping hands in congratulations.

"Ah shamim, I knew these were your soldiers. Sorry they were weak, they deserved to die" Kane said, his eyes straight on the witch.

The boys got more angry than ever once they had met their number one enemy. There eyes got red with anger, it was only a matter of time to attack. Kai rushed as fast as he could with his speed ability, but shamim was fast enough to notice him and stopped him with his juju. Kane fell on the ground followed by his two brothers.

They wake up in a dark room full of herbs and magical staff's. Xen was the first one to wake up and noticed that his brothers were also hanging next to him. Heads down, hands swinging lazily. Kane and Kai woke up finally.

"Welcome back to the world of the living hybrids, you have been away for quiet a while" Shamim announced

"Where are we?, what are we doing here" Kai asked with sigh

"Worry not, Kai, is it?. You'll know what you are here for so soon"

Shamim took a knife from the round table that was equipped with alot of magic staffs. She his creepy ugly dreads to the back and tied them together with a red ribbon. She took a red large transparent cup and then she cut herself on the palm and let the blood drip in the cup. She wakeup on to the three boys and sourced blood and mixed it with her's.

"Bring the girl!", She yelled to whoever she was yelling to

"What are you trying to do? Kai asked roughly, his voice sounded pale.

"Relax Kai, you talk too much than your siblings".

Out of non of the boys expectancy, a rough guy, probably a werewolf appeared in the room with xen's girlfriend, Merisa.

The brothers jaws dropped down. Xen went ballistic, he just wanted to break free of the chains and reap out the witches heart. But he couldn't, the chains were magical and very strong to be broke by a hybrids power. Xen tried to shake, hoping that he could break free.

"Nooo!!!, Leave her out of this. Don't you dare hurt her", Xen said, his voice was full of anger.

Shamim held the girl on the arm and let her to the boys front. Merisa seemed like she was being controlled, she wasn't herself. She seemed pale like she had lost a lot of blood. Her dark black hair was totally ruined. And her pure gold eyes were now red.

"Or what Xen?. You'll kill me? Look at you, you are the younger one and the weaker one, you are only strong at love. You let love make you week Xen".

Shamim cut the girl on the palm and mixed the blood with that of the three hybrids and hers.she took the cup full of blood and placed on the table circled by burning candles. Xen turned his attention to the helpless Merisa who was standing without making a single move like she was glued.

"Look at me.. Look at me Meri, everything is going to be fine. I'm gonna get you out of here", Xen said to Merisa who was already dropping tears.

Shamim started reciting his magical words silently but loud enough for the boys to hear.In the process, the candles lit up extra flames, the blood that was in the cup vanished and more importantly Merisa dropped down.

"No, no, nooo!" Xen yelled out loud

"What have you done to her?, you gonna pay for this".Kai berated.

"Sorry for your loss, but for the spell to work, she had to die", Merisa said teasingly.

"What are you talking about?, what spell did you do" Kane managed to ask. Xen couldn't even speak he was full of grief, there was tears all over his face.

"Well, I was doing a very pleasing spell. I linked your lives, that means you'll be feeling what one of you will be feeling,Anger, fear, pain and emotions, you will be sharing. That's the best punishment to you my lovely enemies".

"Oh shit" Kane complained, he knew this was not good, all of them knew.

"You are now free to go, live long hybrids". When Shamim and the dude who brought Merisa to the party left, The metal chains that were holding the boys loosen and the three boys fell on the cement floor carelessly.
