Chapter 11

SEBASTIAN'S POV

It was already past 8 before I left the castle. After I escort the king back to his palace and after the survey was done. I raced down the street roads and got hooked up by the traffic portents. There are too many vehicles ahead and behind me so, it changed my usual activity. Unfortunately, I also had to wait in their queue till I saw the vehicle at my front move. Except for the day, I always forget to obey traffic rules. I parked at the front of the hospital where Alex was taken. There are way too many wards in that hospital compared to the one I've been to. I had to keep my eyes up until I see the one in which 024 was written as addressed by the guards who directed me.

I stepped inside and met Aby sitting beside Alex.

She quickly turned to see who it was but contorted back in disappointment. That look wasn't a welcoming one and it doesn't seem like she would say a word to me. I knew my normal face didn't show any sign of sincerity but I exceptionally want the guys to pay for what they did to Alex.

I moved closer a bit and placed my right arm on her shoulder leisurely. She took a glance at my hand and gave the rest of her angry-looking gaze into my eyes, then she turned to look down again. Everything happened so fast. In all these moments, she never said anything to me. But she expressed her anger with her stunning eyes.

"What a girl" my mind let out as I almost forget that Alex was still on his bed.

I moved close to him and held his arm.

"I'm sorry Ale.."

"he's asleep! " This was Aby's first talk to me since I entered the ward.

"Hey..," I tolled in a low voice.

"I am going to punish them for this"

"Are you!?" she asked with a scowl.

"Hmph, you let them go... You forgave them"

"Did I..?"

"Oh were you playing somebody else... Out there... With the king.. ?" she raised her voice gradually without allowing me to talk.

"Enough!" I yelled as she tried to continue but still trying to let my voice low.

"Alex has been my buddy for long.. Ok!?

and about us... you don't know nothing. I just found you...Yesterday" I buzzed the last word of my sentence in her ear, close enough that our cheeks could touch.

"I know you found me yesterday and I don't know who I am but... I'm happy that with this, I can prove that whoever I was... cared about whoever I met. even if it's just some minutes ago."

She replied with no relent.

" you and I already know it's not the place nor the best time to have this conversation" I finally voiced out and walked quickly out of the ward.

I nod my head as the nurse on my way greets me. She must be heading to Alex's ward for his night treatment.

"uh..ma'am, are you in charge of Alex?" I asked with a sideway turn while she was already at my back. It wasn't my fault that I didn't make a nice face asking the question. It was out of the previous argument I had with Aby.

"Hello, sir... Are you his Guardian?"

"Please follow me"

That wasn't the reason I called on her, I wouldn't have followed her but I just did to see what it was about. She sat me down in a room and handed me a piece of paper.

"This is the result so far, no damage to any crucial organ, there are internal injuries, and..."

"Ma'am... Just hand the bill over tomorrow, and I'll take care of it" I cut in like I wasn't interested in the results. I gave the paper back and moved out. I rode home and there were not many vehicles. I looked at my watch and it was already 10. I spent almost an hour in the hospital. I hurried inside my room to get changed because I'm already a minute late.

"It's time for them to pay for what they did to my friend... If they're lucky enough and they don't come, they're not really lucky... I will meet them" the thoughts flow angrily as I sharpen my incisors with each other.

I looked at my watch again and I was 3 minutes late before the clock could tick I'd gotten to the bridge.

"you guys came on time," I said seeing them from afar.

"And you're late... " He replied proceeding to the next deal

"You guys really came early to your grave" I cut in.

"What... Do you mean..?" he questioned with a frown.

"I only want it eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth, who says I forgive you? " I growled as I got closer to them gradually.

"So...? Wanna join your friend in bed"

they all burst into laughter.

He was still laughing before he realized something... A hand had reached his hearth. I ripped the bloody heart out of his chest and slowly... he went to the ground. The rest of the buddies with their mouths open, let out a very loud scream and tried to flee when they saw my face. The scars on me must've terrified them more but they shouldn't have fled. The nearest person soon felt the pain from behind as I let my hand through his chest. They all had a terrible death but the last person. I moved at his front and slowly... I go close to him. He was begging for his life but I didn't listen. I held him energetically and bite down his neck without pity and start to drink. I was about to drain out all of his blood through his neck before I heard her yell.

"Sebastian!" She cried out my name and I turned dashingly to look at her, still with my vampire gaze because I was not finished.

But when I saw the tears roll down her eyes, I quickly turned back to human as I let the last man on my arm drop slowly to the ground.

He battled with his own death on the floor as he bled profusely.

"How did you... Come here..?"
