Chapter 74: TORMENT

Tanya's POV

"I'll tell you a secret," he said to me, smiling at me. It was perfect. I had nothing else to talk to him about, nowhere to continue the conversation to postpone the inevitable, which made it wonderful that he would tell me something instead, keeping the conversation flowing.

"I'd love to hear it," I said, a bit too excited before hearing the actual words and wanting to run away from him as fast as possible. I was in for a round of suffering if he actually got me.

"I'm a sadist," he said, giving me a sadistic smile.

I looked around the place, wondering whether I could flee from there. We were not compatible, never. I was not a person who liked pain, never had been, and from what he was saying, he wanted to torture me.

"But you just told me that you are not interested in me," I said to him, taking a step forward. For once, his eyes widened when he saw that.

"Well, I think we are progressing," he said. At that instant, I realized what I had done because of what he had said.
