~Decker~

For the entire night, I could not rest; the flashes of that beautiful face didn’t allow me to close my eyes. I couldn’t think of anything else, her gray eyes glittering in red lights, the way she lifted her big lashes, and that killer smile. That was the first time for me to feel this way. I have been with many, but none of them were enough for me. And here, just a glimpse of her beauty worked like a weed for me. Watching her face on the ceiling of my room, I started smiling like a crazy person.

Who was she?

All I knew was the morning lights showed up while I was still glaring at the ceiling. Tired, I stood and did my morning business. Enzo was sleeping like a log, but I took him to his new college today. I came to my office, where Vicent caught me yawning frequently.

“Good morning, Senor.”

I gave him an exhausted look as I settled on the chair,

“Good morning, Vincent.”

“Seems like you didn’t sleep last night.” I nodded without looking at him.

~DECKER~ We came to the hospital with her dear friend, Ramona. Although I didn’t need her, she was more like an interruption. Resting her delicate body on the hospital bed, I waited for the doctor to arrive. I was quietly scanning this beauty while she was groaning with pain. Should I ask her? But I didn’t want to make her feel I was affected and drooling over her beauty. Even in pain, she cursed those bastards. “How did you get blood on your forehead?” She pressed the cut with a damp cloth, “One of them smacked my head with the gun,” she replied, “And why did he do that?” “Because I kicked his balls.” She rested her head back on the headrest, making me laugh. “What’s so funny about it?” “Nothing, I am surprised... maybe you didn’t need me to save you,” I replied, pressing my lips together. The nurse came over and checked her pulse. She removed the damp cloth, revealing her cut on the right upside of her eye. “I am going to clean your wound. Don’t scream.” The nurse dipped

She challenged me while leaving me alone. She was not a regular girl whom I could impress with my money and charm; She got something special that made me run after her. We met twice, and she mocked me with her words and attitude every time. Now it came to my male ego to know her, to make her feel I was still the devil of this town. After she left, I took the deal into my hand. She showed her attitude; it was my time to make her know who I was. The evening came, and I reached the pub. Instructed everything for the manager. I knew she would come today for her performance, but the one thing she didn’t know from now on, she had to perform for me. *********** As the evening comes, all the girls come to the vanity room to prepare themselves. “Alright, girls. Customers are waiting for you all.” They gave the last touch on their face while walking out, “Not you, Rose.” The manager stopped. Rose furrowed her brows, as this was not good news for her. As the days passed, Decker’s curiosity to know about Amber turned out to be an obsession. The more she limits, the more it becomes hard for Decker to control himself. He tried hard to showcase himself as a gentleman, but the eagerness surfaced to have her, and it was challenging to deceive. He knew everything about her routine, despite that, she didn’t allow him to explore what was inside her heart. “Senor, are you in love with that girl? But she seems not interested.” Vincent questioned. “I don’t know about her, but she has something that my heart craves. And her constant rejection makes me want her more and more.” “I want to be soft with her, but sometimes I’m scared I might hurt her.” Decker ruffed. “But what if she?...” “Stop right there, Vincent.” Decker glared at him. “I am going to the pub.” Decker left for the pub, waiting for Amber to enter the room. ~DECKER~ When the sorrow comes, time stops. It felt like it would never move. The same thing I tasted when I saw Enzo and Amber enjoying their moments with each other. I was breaking it day by day. I didn’t know why I allowed Amber to use me, maybe because I thought she would see my dedication towards her one day. But I was wrong; she used me for everything. The day came when I heard Enzo talking to his friend about Amber. I was right; he was never serious about her. He used her for his pleasure. For a moment, I felt happy for her to accept me, but the very next moment, I felt terrible for her. I knew she loved him, and he was using her. My angel said to confront my brother and make him realize he was not doing a good thing by her, but my devil said, let there be a dispute between them; she should suffer; she used you for her benefit. Being a big brother, I thought about fixing things, even though this fire would burn me. “Enzo, how could you do this to Amber? She loves you.” He

It’s been a long time since Amber’s birthday party. Decker used to stay out most of the time; he never liked to spend his night in the mansion, where he could encounter Amber and Enzo. But the day came when his good spirit gave up when he saw Amber’s face filled with red marks. She was alone, crying in the garden. “What happened?” “Nothing.” she tried to avoid his question. “There is nothing for you here,” she snapped. He left the place going rogue. He didn’t know how to control all this situation, “Senor,” “We are going to take back the place.” Another business matter was going on where the Russian tried to enter his territory. With Amber in his mind, he lost control. The matter could be solved with communication, but his anger flowed when he started shooting his enemy and created the blood bath. After killing his enemies, he was not satisfied. “Senor, you didn’t need to kill them,” “Don’t teach me how to do this fucking business, Vincent,” he snapped. Vincent sat next to him,

She heard the footsteps approaching in her direction, and she was not willing to talk to anyone right now. She rushed towards the garden, thinking she could hide. “Margarita,” a voice brushed in her ears, and the goosebumps started to crawl out from her skin. She didn’t turn because she knew she would look weak and vulnerable in front of Samson. Margarita’s fingers tightened around the edge of her dress, her knuckles turning white.
