Standing in front of an oval mirror, Margarita looked at herself in an elegant, knee-length turquoise dress.

The classy piece was gifted by none other than her mom, Adele Costello.

“You look perfect,” Adele winked, pecking her daughter’s head.

Being a princess of her house, she knew she could talk about anything with her dad, but when talking about a man in her life, she knew her mom would be the best person to talk to.

“Mom,” she creased her dress, looking at her mother, who was busy curling her hair.

“What?”

“What did you see in dad that made you fall in love with him?”

Adele smiled, thinking, is it even possible for her to answer this question? They had their history of trials. How he made her fall in love with him, knowing he was a killer and the only reason for her misery.

Something was not right. Kiara called Margarita to talk to her, then how come she died? Ethan was summing the sight; Someone wrapped Kiara’s wrist and feet with a rope. But there was no sign of sexual assault or any bruises. He switched on the phone light and looked closely at Kiara’s face. Could something have suffocated her or had a cardiac arrest? Ethan looked around and saw a cushion on the ground, and when he flipped it, he knew the cushion had suffocated her. Every vertex in his mind connected without wasting time; he ran out. The anxiety and fear of leaving his sister alone assailed his mind. She was sitting in the car, and he was the one in danger. He ran, trying to tell Margarita to start the engine as if it was a trap to lure her out, but before that, he felt a stinging pain in his chest. Looking down, he saw the scarlet liquid coming from his lower abdomen. He was at the bullet point of his enemy. Margarita couldn’t process the sight. A moment before, her brother was waving

How can we jump from here?” Ethan backed himself, which his elder sister did not accept.“We can jump, Ethan.”“No, I am not. I am scared.” he tried to get away.Watching Evan close the gap between them and discovering their presence in the room, Margarita snarled over Ethan.“I can’t lose this game. She heard the footsteps approaching in her direction, and she was not willing to talk to anyone right now. She rushed towards the garden, thinking she could hide. “Margarita,” a voice brushed in her ears, and the goosebumps started to crawl out from her skin. She didn’t turn because she knew she would look weak and vulnerable in front of Samson. Margarita’s fingers tightened around the edge of her dress, her knuckles turning white. She could sense Samson’s presence behind her, the weight of his gaze, the unspoken words that hung in the air between them. But she remained committed, determined to protect herself from the pain that had once shattered her world. “I know...
